Waste of money
We haven't even had our skylight calendar for a full year and essentially unusable now. It says it's connected to WiFi, but support says it's not online. Did a WiFi reset like they wanted, no change at all. Tried to do a factory reset, but just get a message that says “please try again” and it won't perform a factory reset. After multiple instances of their updates breaking the device and requiring a reset, this last one has left it an expensive paperweight after 10 months.

Great app - but lots of room to grow
I bought the calendar for myself and my partner, and the shared calendar and dinner planning is so great! You can tell this app is still working out the kinks - I wish there was an easy way to submit bug reports because I have them but don't have a way of easily letting the developers know. Which is a bummer because I want this app to thrive & get better!

App is fine. What's missing is the ability to share directly from my photo gallery or similar app. I don't always want to go through the app to find the picture, or email.

Unable to add events since app update
The is app is useless on iPhone. Since the recent updates you cannot use the app to add events to the calendar it glitches when you try to add an event and causes the keyboard not to work. Also it is stuck in portrait mode on n iPad. What used to be convenient is now very inconvenient…useless actually…please fix this this asap.

The App’s tech isn’t easy and streamlined for Apple (Using Calendar). Still worth using though.
I will start by saying I LOVE the Skylight Calendar, and it's made my family's life a lot easier overall. However, using the app (and you HAVE to use the app for some things vs. desktop site), is TERRIBLE. At least for Apple products. It's confusing, with too many steps, and often, when you get where you need, (like finding an “upload calendar” button) it's just a set of directions for what to do yourself on your phone. The app could really use an overhaul to match how wonderful the calendar product is. Once everything is set up though, it's not the worst. However, let's talk about the list functions, like making a grocery list, or a to do list, which could streamline across your home calendar, and any family member's device with the app. Sounds amazing! However, because the app is not at all user friendly, it really doesn't get used, which is extremely disappointing. I also really wish they'd come out with an Apple Watch app, if only for the LIST functions! All in all, buy the calendar, but be prepared for subpar app of you're a part of the Apple family.

Awful for picture uploads
This app never seems to be able to import mine or my wife's pictures properly. We have to send them one at a time by email to get it to go through. Which when trying to send all of our wedding and honeymoon pictures, is hours of time

Could use some improvements
Overall, the calendar functionality is as expected. Our primarily goal is organization. It would be great if there was a Recipe functionality or even just a way to paste content into the current list functionality in paragraph form, as opposed to the restricted one-liner, or insert a picture into the current List functionality, similar to Apple Notes. The weather on the main screen could also be improved… the ability to click on the icon and expand into daily and weekly views/forecasts would be ideal.

Well, I WAS enjoying this ap, but then the new update! Now when viewing videos on my Android phone I see a tiny little thumbnail. Maximizing the screen does not help the situation. At least they haven't messed up the photos!
