TheFork - Restaurant bookings - Latest Quality Issues

App installed, I sign up and book for the first time... The next day, the booking was cancelled and the account was suspended for violating the rules. We didn't even have time to test anything, as we're already suspended.

Yums are worthless It is mentioned that you can get a discount with Yums saved by booking with this app, but there are few restaurants that support it, and if you make a reservation using Yums, it will be canceled just before the reservation date. When I tried to make a reservation again, Yums was no longer available and I couldn't get a discount after all. When I contacted support, I was told that there was no problem with the rules. I feel cheated

There are no restaurants that accept Yums in many provinces, and it becomes difficult (often impossible to use). The prices shown in the menus on TheFork are almost always much lower than the real ones, and if in the review you attach the photo of the menu made at the restaurant, it will not be published. With high discounts, I often received small portions.

After the latest update in May 2024, the app's map crashes continuously.

Application works strangely.
It allows you to make a reservation but always tries to enforce the points program. It's been around for so many years, but it still doesn't have dark mode. It allows you to add events to the calendar but asks for full access to the calendar unnecessarily!! Very suspicious

Very bad, I didn't find the option to select cuisine with intolerances, celiac disease, etc.

That way restaurants get to open their doors to all types of diners, making dining out accessible to everyone.

3. Community insights = better bites

With our feed of critically acclaimed insights and selections, no chances are taken on promoting the dining out spots that are turning heads for the best ambiance, ratings, service and food.

6. We take loyalty VERY seriously.
To reward our awesome foodie community, every booking with TheFork accumulates unique Yums points, which can be redeemed in the form of a tasty discount at one of our many partner restaurants down the line. Here’s how it works:

1 reservation = 100 Yums (Y)

Once you've accumulated enough you can enjoy amazing offers which converts to:
1,000 Y = €10 / CHF15 / AUD$20 / £20 loyalty discount!
2,000 Y = €25 / CHF35 / AUD$50 / £50 loyalty discount!

Keep an eye out for double Yums and other ways to earn more Yums as you book.

We love hearing from our TheFork foodie community! Reach out at contact@thefork.com.
