4 guest - 4 terrible experiences - host review
I had 4 guest with my first vehicle listed on Turo (fully loaded Jaguar). Without going into detail, all 4 guest were terrible to the vehicle, with the 4th guest wrecking the car and not providing insurance…. Turo does NOT cover diminished value claims and rebids damage claims to lowest bidder. All while Turos automated pricing put my vehicle as low as $45/day for a 6 figure car… Indy metro area. TLDR- don't use your personal car, and understand that the rates are so low that you WILL NOT make money off higher end vehicles. Buy a fleet of used Toyota Camrys and you'll prob do alright though. You're car will not be treated with respect, it will be treated worse than a budget rental. Stay away from this platform if you're trying by to host. If you're trying to make extra money - this is not the platform for that little side gig - those who are successful typically have a fleet of lower end cars — putting themselves into the “super budget” rental car category.

it's a bit confusing at times. both from the perspective of the vehicle owner and the borrower. EDIT after response from Truro OK. Next time I'm in the middle of the street examining a car against the clock I'll make sure to make notes as an unpaid member of Turo's User Acceptance Test team. The problems are numerous and obvious. Just test your app!

Turo is HORRIBLE!!!!
I have rented several cars on Turo. Two weeks ago was no different, I returned the car in good condition. Two days later $172.50 was removed from my account and I received an email from Turo that I violated their policy! The person I rented from submitted a picture of the wheel well that had dirt on it, it was REGULAR wear and tear or I would have cleaned it! I never got a response to my dispute which I submitted same day so 4 days later I emailed again with no response. I called today. I even submitted the photos of the vehicle I turned in which there were no issues. Turo immediately emailed me stating they were not overturning my dispute. They didn't even consider it. Then with no warning they just removed my access of any of my past trips as well as removed all emails from the app!!! Plus they kept my account information regarding my credit card and I cannot remove it from the app. DO NOT RENT THROUGH TURO!

The worst experience I've had in my life I didn't find the car I rented, I paid an uber to pick it up, everything had cost me 206 dollars, I called the guy and he didn't tell me where I was, he didn't even go to where I was, I canceled that trip and they charged me 137 dollars surcharge, don't rent a car with this company that they are going to repeat because the cars are expensive, bad attention, Without some brazen thieves who should all be in prison, the worst I should have.
