No Beneficiary
3/5 because Upgrade does not have an option for a beneficiary to be added to your account. If they can make that change it would be 5/5. App is easy and interest rate has kept climbing.

They will drop your limit if your credit score goes down which is horrible because they will keep dropping it I wen from a 10k limit to less then half for doing nothing wrong with them

There's no way to take a picture of a check into the bank account through the app so it's worthless to me

New interface is not ideal
In the new updated interface the cash back amount is not readily displayed which it previously was. I preferred the old way. I also would love the transactions to show the available amount in the account

Meeting my needs
Easy to use, payment structure is complicated, but hopefully I can get it right, not sure how to get it to pay off the oldest charge first, it separates the payment into little bits for each charge I made. 🤷‍♀️

Predatory.
This app and the card account attached to it are absolute rubbish. I have never missed a payment yet they have changed terms on me, to the negative consistently throughout my tenure with this account. Today I found myself with some windfall money and made a large payment towards my outstanding balance - my reward was that my credit line was reduced (for at least the third time despite, again, never once having been late with payment or having committed any other meaningful misdeed). The APR on the account is ghastly, the terms completely fluid and unpredictable. Your life has more joy in it without a relationship with this company.

Not impressed. They limit the things you can do on their apps such as making an extra payment you have to call to do that you can't update payment methods, and you can't even change your phone number with them by calling they need you to send pictures of you holding your ID with a request for the change of the phone number. they make sure they report my balance every month to the credit bureaus, but every time I've paid it off and have a zero balance they never update it. Bad for consumers

Wish The had Better Features, but Ok Overall
So, my other bank app, when you view the transaction history, will show you under each transaction how much money was in the account when the payment came out or deposit came, like right under the amount that was added/removed. Upgrade does not do that. I swear my account is short, but I have no way of proving that without having to go all the way back to when I opened the account and doing a blow by blow review of every transaction. Is not my primary account so I don't monitor it like the other one, so adding this feature would give me some peace of mind. Otherwise, I've borrowed from them twice before and that is going well. They were efficient, and as long as you pay on time, they don't give you any problems.

App missing key features
Would love to add manually businesses to pay bills via bill pay. I prefer using bill pay rather than setting up auto pay on company website.
