YNAB: Budgeting & Finance - Latest Quality Issues
Android

1. Updates on app and web app are slow, I wouldn't mind if I wasn't paying a subscription. 2. Can not authorise any accounts with true layer. Doesn't work.
iOS

Usability
App is not usable for running cost and income from bank accounts. Assigning costs might be ok in US, but it's not the way for EU. Too complicated and time consuming.

Doesn’t sync with Norwegian banks
What a shame! I've seen so many great videos and heard so many great podcasts about YNAB and I can't even use it.

Would be great if connections actually worked
There are multiple accounts (Target Redcard, Apple credit card, Apple Cash, and Apple savings) that never connect on their own. If you want to update them you have to manually reconnect and then wait 24 hours for the information to appear. You might as well just manually track your transactions at that point, so it's not worth the $15 a month. Also, I'm not complaining about this but it would be nice if the target redcard account could also communicate with my target app to automatically categorize and split categories for purchases. Right now if I want it to be accurate I have to manually go through and add up each category. If the YNAB app could just connect to my target app and automatically know that the charge on my credit card for $11 was $6 of groceries and $5 of personal care that would be super helpful. You could also maybe add a way to scan receipts and categorize based off of that, but doing it automatically would be preferable. If they made these changes I would start paying the subscription again but right now it's just not worth it.

Insane subscription prices.
The app was great, but then got a little too complicated as they added more and more unnecessary features. But what really killed it for me was the subscription increases. They just kept jumping. I left the app when it reached €90+ and now it's over €100. Honestly it's just not worth that, it's not worth 50% its current price to be honest. Definitely can't recommend this app.

Am I doing something wrong?
Overall, this software is awesome at tracking and planning finances. I moved from Mint with a lot of Excel spreadsheets to almost exclusively YNAB. The one thing that keeps throwing me is when I pay my credit card bills my accounts keep getting overspending errors. I have to manually add more money into my credit cards so I never really know where I stand. I probably have 100+ transactions per month so I am only about 95% confident in my budget using this platform alone. I am probably doing something wrong but after reading all the information on their website and watching all of the YouTube videos it is still happening. I strongly recommend this app as it works flawlessly across my iPhone, iPad and MacBook.

Too confusing
Thankfully I only subscribed for one month. I use an iPhone for all my online activity. The reviews were correct when they said not real user friendly on the phone app and you're limited to some of the features. I have cancelled my renewal. This app actually seems to be a spinoff or copy of a more popular app.

Not able to cancel my subscription
I tried to delete my account, but I can't cancel my subscription. There is no button “cancel”. Just choose between monthly subscription and annual.

I have been with YNAB for 7 years now and they just seem like a money hungry entity these days. Functional product, but they have now overpriced themselves. We were promised 'Legacy' accounts at a cheaper price only to have that be a lie and they have more than doubled the price of the product. I'm concerned for what lies ahead as far as pricing goes. To be clear, the product does a good job of keeping track of your finances. However, the product isn't worth what they are charging anymore.
