UNRELIABLE !!!!!
ZIP CAR IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE I BOOKED MULTIPLE VEHICLES WITH ZIP CAR AND HAD NO ISSUE THEN THEY STARTED RENTING VEHICLES THAT WERE NEVER THERE THE FIRST TIME I WAS UNDERSTANDING THEN IT KEPT HAPPENING THEY KEPT RENTING VEHICLES AND SAYING THAT IT WAS IN ONE LOCATION AND WAS NEVER THERE THEN THEY WOULD SAY IM SO SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE BUT THE VEHICLE IS ACTUALLY NO WHERE NEAR YOU THAT IS COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE I SWEAR TO GOD DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM AND I WILL BE BRINGING THIS TO ZIP CAR CORPORATE THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST!!!

There are no cars available at the locations, if you have great luck then you might get the option to book the car but eventually, you will see there are no cars and your booking has been cancelled without informing you. I have had this experience for more than one time. If you are 1 minute late they will charge $50, but if you don't see a car on time coming from maintenance they will say "Let me give you credit for 30 min but we don't care about your time even if you have a membership with us."

Unable to reopen account
Unfortunate experience, after being a loyal customer with Zipcar and relying on its services to transport my children to school & my sick grandma to and from appointments, there are times were I brought reservations a little bit past the drop off time. However, being a customer that has spent over $6,000 using the service, I would've hoped to receive better customer service when attempting to reopen my closed account. The team is not offering any type of way for me to reopen my account, they blankly tell me it's permanent and I should consider other car sharing options. Highly disappointing, and I wish there was a way for members to have their account closure reconsidered in a more generous way. I wish Zipcar could give my family another chance at having reliable transportation.

Absolute trash, please rather go to the filthiest local car rental if you want less stressful rental. Zipcar prices are anyway not cheaper. Now to the app: Bluetooth usually doesn't connect to the car, so you find yourself standing with all your gear, freezing fingers and cranky partner in front of the car. Now you think they have call center support for that? 15min queue even with priority access while you're on a trip after identifying you with phone number and drivers license. HORRIBLE!!!

App is broken. I tried to search for a car in a specific time. But the search reverts to the "nearby now" option. Really annoying. I almost reserved the car at the wrong time not being aware that it did that. Glad I double-checked

Don't use this service beware. You will get over charged for returning a vehicle in a spot that isn't available to park even though you call support and let them know what is happening. The support team doesn't know anything and says you have to respond to an email to get an expert to look over our go over the extra charges on the account and there unable to do so on the phone. The support did I even took the car miles away which I stayed local to my area

SCUMMERS
scammers. After you send the documents and they confirm them, they ask you to pay a one-time fee. you do it. and then they again ask you to send you some documents. If you refuse to send anything again, you are told that you will not receive your £15. It's good that there is a chargeback.
