It really sucks that the flex payment page no longer loads so I can't even ask for help when I need it. And the contact assistance page just says "we apologize" and then goes blank. If you're going to change the app at least make sure that your customers can still contact you otherwise it really isn't working for anyone. It's been like that for over a month but how are we supposed to tell you about it because we can't contact you!

Do not trust this bank
I cannot begin to name all the things wrong with this bank, but here are a few: Their customer service reps who respond to secure messages are terrible. Incoherent, multiple messages dealing with the same thing, and messing up things that should have been simple The app is a mess. White background with purple lettering. How many customers have to ask for a dark mode before they do it? The app freezes and crashes frequently and, in my case removed my ability to see anything about my accts I have closed my accts with Ally. This process was ridiculous and put me in real fear of losing my money. I gave specific information, as THEY HAD REQUIRED, and NONE of my instructions were followed. Their rep went and duplicated transactions I had already set up, sent me 2 different [phone]ssagea about the transfer of my funds and obviously did not read my email. I spent over 4 hours on the phone with Ally to straighten out this mess. I had zero degree of confidence that my money was going to be transferred as instructed. Finally after telling the rep on the phone that someone was going to be hand delivering my money to me, he spoke with someone in Operations who promised my money would be in my new accts overnight instead of waiting 4 days and wondering whether my money was being transferred correctly or not. The money has been transferred. The accts have been closed, except Ally Invest which I have to jump through more hoops to close. Worst banking experience I have ever had. Their interest rate does not compensate for the incompetence. The only 2 bright spots were the 2 reps I spoke with on the phone. Even then, I asked for a supervisor and was refused. Stay away from this bank

Broken Feature
The Long term investment goal tracker is slightly broken. It works on browser but on the app, my 5 year goal doesnt take into account my current monthly contributions. Instead it only estimates what my current balance will have grown to in 5 years.

Recent UI changes are a big step backwards. The app is increasingly cluttered with fluff and links to web content outside of the app. There are also seemingly different design schemes for the views of all accounts vs individual accounts, with the later using an older UI style. I know it's the way of the world, but I really miss the prior simplicity.

Guys, your literal login screen doesn't work. Like, I can't even enter in my credentials because the fields aren't editable. You do realize you're an online-only bank, right?

App is awful. It keeps sending me back and forth between the old one and new one. Often tells me that the password is wrong even though I make absolute sure it's correct. And now when I click on transactions, it just sends me back to the login page. How about, if something works, we don't screw it up by "updating" it?

Why is the app getting worse…?
The app used to work great but so many of the recent updates have caused it to get progressively worse. With the latest update, Face ID stopped working entirely. When I log in, it prompts me to verify my log in credentials by verifying a text or call, but then the app just keeps spinning and nothing happens. Closing the app out and logging back in again then skips that verification process entirely, lol I like Ally but they gotta get the app together
