Terrible that you don't get the 10 or 15 sec recordings anymore on the doorbell when there's motion. There is literally no point in having this system anymore. Only shows live shot. Used to be so much better. GREEDY!

App Update Big Let Down
We loved Arlo and have had it for several year. New App was automatically installed 2weeks ago and now we can no longer operate cameras individually. Individual camera scheduling is almost impossible and customer service still can get it to work. It is no longer user friendly. Expensive paperweights!!! Unless they straighten this mess out, stay away. Two months later…. Still no better. Automations don't always work. No vacation mode so need to delete automations when away.

This review is not specifically for the app, but the software and support of the cameras as well. The hardware is great, but you'll struggle to get the cameras to stay connected or even show up on your portal at all, even if they're right next to the wifi. Sometimes they just offline for no reason, and have to be removed and resynced to the network, or the base station restarted. What the point of cameras if I have to constantly go home to restart them?

Works very well most of the time. Captured video and camera viewing is available anywhere. Modes and rules are very flexible for activating motion detection and notifications from cameras. Geofencing is sometimes quirky, but I believe that has to do more with my phone than the app. Updates often cause problems and I've had to uninstall and reinstall the app on a couple of occasions to get it to function properly after an update. Update: Every firmware update breaks it.

Love it when it’s working
This is a great app but I do find it shows the camera offline often times even when the service is showing the camera is connected an up and running via customer service.

Garbage app and system. Spend $ on a real system.
What a waste of money. Monthly fees cameras that never stay charged, even with solar panels, Geo fencing and notification settings are horrible. I've invest 1000 in the system and I'm stuck on it. Biggest regret for security I've ever made.

Not charging battery & other issues
Not at the best as I was expected, I purchased my first security system-pro, it was working fine with some minor issues but it was satisfactory so I brought another one the PRO 2 system it was giving me nothing but problems. I finally have to try out some other device TP-Link (TAPO) system not install yet via Best Buy online, will see how it works out. Solar panel is also ARLO's
