ASDA Rewards | unitQ Score

Mostly this is a decent app that helps keep track of the Asda Rewards and easily scan your card, especially since the most recent update. However there are a couple of small things that could be improved. Firstly, there is currently a multi line message at the top of the Home Screen about a beef joint and an issue with earning appearing. There is no way to mark this as read or close it and it has no relevance to me, so just takes up space at the top of the screen, pushing the more import information lower on the screen and below the scroll line. Ideally this would have some way to close it, or only show if you've purchase the said beef joint, which is apparently very popular. Congratulations to the beef joint. The other issue I have is that there is no way to link the Asda Rewards account to the Scan and Go app. Both exist on my phone and when checking out I need to first scan my trolley from scan and go and then open the Rewards app to scan that too. Some way to have this automatically connected and pre scanned when using the Scan and Go app would be fantastic. Other than that, the app does the job it needs to and is mostly unobtrusive about it.

It's not bad. It could do with a direct link from 'Earn' pages in this app to relevant product in the ASDA Grocery app or website.

Usually works really well but lately I'm getting slightly frustrated with this app, I try to redeem a voucher that doesn't let me. A week later when it finally does let me create a £5 voucher it didn't work at the till. Staff just said they can't help and it might work tomorrow.

In £280 shopping I've earny 79p whilst if I had visited the other big supermarket I would have earned £2.80 complete waste of time.

Generally I think the app is well put together it feels good, is responsive and the UI is clear and relatively easy to understand most of the time. I rarely encounter any bugs and when I do they are always remedied by an easy reinstall. My only real complaint is sometimes it can be difficult to search or navigate through the products that are on star offer for items you're actually interested in. Would like to see a dark mode too.

The missions now that earn you the bigger rewards are less groceries and more household or expensive goods including asda home and george clothing. The missions where you need to spend x amount in a period to get rewards where you would be able to use groceries against the mission is not updating when you do your shop and scan your barcode. I've done 3 shops now in store and scanned through my app and the progress is still showing as £1 and £29 to go out of the £30 needed to complete. So bad!

Complete robbery, false advertising. When it first came about, it was great getting cash back. Now it doesn't add up correctly. Every other day I'm spending hundreds in Asda and scanning my app, but all I've got in my pot was £1.75. It's not worth shopping at Asda anymore, over priced, Short dated food! This app is just a con to get you to shop at Asda, making you think you've saved money, but you haven't.

What's the point having a rewards App with coupons telling you that it can be used in store or online. So I go online for delivery of some garden furniture and App says coupon will automatically be applied at checkout. It's not. The coupon is in ASDA rewards App but the garden furniture is in George which is separate and has a separate App which I have downloaded to no avail. Followed all instructions I could find and got nowhere. Won't proceed with purchase without the coupon since I'm having to spend considerably more to benefit for the coupon that I can't add.
