The app works very well on the android platform. The connectivity could use a little tweaking and if the dinner menu was available each night that would be cool too. It definitely made communication between cabin mates and friends aboard much easier. UPDATE: Not sure what happened between 2017 and now but this app has been destroyed. Connection drops all over the ship, and it's constantly crashing.

It was helpful as a method of staying in contact with the rest of our group on board. Some intermittent connectivity issues where the on board WiFi dumped the connection, but otherwise a very much used onboard app.

Carnival Freedom review
Certain areas on the ship do not have good Wi-Fi so you constantly have to reconnect to the app. Other then that works great. We sometimes even loose Wi-Fi in the dinning room when trying to view dinner menu. They do have paper menus when that does happen♥️

Great for selecting activities for the daily planner. Cons: Needed to connect repeatedly (multiple times per cruise). Shouldn't charge $5 each to "chat" on the app. Didn't always work due to need to continually re-connect. Disembarking instructions never were broadcast on the app; seemed disorganized.

Chat was the only problem that occasionally delayed more than 30 minutes of message delivery. Sometimes the next day. Other than that, it is great for activities, planner, map food and drinks etc.

Loved the app only thing is when you dock into ports and have your own phone service switched on it no longer works. Would be good to still be able to look at things without the carnival WiFi but otherwise it was great 👍

Is pretty point less prior to traveling. While on your cruise it's everything. Pretty easy to navigate, has tons of information, but the chat is terrible. Do Not waste your money on the chat.
