Although I get a message about "updating now," I am unable to fo so. What happens is an endless loop of "I already have this app on my kindle," to "you need to update." I can literally play this loop over and over and get nowhere at all. CNN is my go-to source of news when we are away or on vacation, but in its current state, it isn't at all useful.

Can't listen to just audio for mor3 than a few minutes and it stops. Watching live on my computer also gives an error message when coming back from ads. MSNBC it is.

Latest update makes xx milj phones unusable to see cnn
Not only requires the update OS16, which iphones from 5 years ago not have. Even worse there old app does not work, demands the update, which can't on OS15.xx Which makes the old app and thus CNN for millions of users around the world unusable. Large part of world citizens do not have the means to buy new phones. As long as a phone has basic functionality they will keep it. It is worrisome that CNN very often reports and thus make money of those people with less means, rights and possibilities, and it are those people who CNN makes it impossible for them to get the CNNnews. That is against everything CNN says to stand for and delivers only for those who have money enough and excluding the poor. Technically there is no objection what so ever to let the CNN app work on older phones. To conclude that it is CNN intent to exclude people.

It's of no use to me
When I try to open the CNN app, it tells me it needs to be updated. I proceed to settings, general which tells me there are no available updates. What's up with that?

Your directions don't help as I couldn't even send what I wrote! Hopefully this will reach you I have an older model iPhone and live in downtown Washington, DC and tried but failed to get the phone number of CXS at Pa. Ave. At 13th Street, N.W. can you get it for me and reply. I'm trying to buy a loaf of White Bread that is sliced and packaged and they usually have in stock but also sometimes sell put of it.

They force you to click on ads
While scrolling it is now extremely easy to accidentally click on an add and be transferred to the advertisers website. This happens constantly while scrolling their app. Greedy!
