Lacks UI Progression along with lacking useful updates compared to other selling apps
Been using for around 6 years, and I feel like the app only gets worse. As soon as I open the app my phone overheats, and within a minute I need to set my 2 year old iPhone 12 down on a cold surface. I am constantly spammed with offers that I accept, which rarely lead to any sales. I could accept 15 offers that are 50% off discount, give them extra measurements and even knock down shipping to eat the loss and it STILL GOES UNPAID FOR! Something needs to change. Focus on eBay or another platform at this point.

Don't bother, most of the sellers are rude and don't reply to your messages / questions, they take a long time to package and send the items out, so your sat there wondering if your actually receive

The app is great... as long as you have NO issues to resolve. They don't have a way to cancel transactions like most platforms, and if you're lucky enough to hear back from their help desk, they do the exact opposite of what you tell them to do. And they word it as if you have a choice. "Would you like....?" For example, "would you like to refund the buyer the shipping label since it won't be used?" "Yes, but not at my expense since this was a Depop glitch. No if it dings me." Bam, account neg.

Fakes and no refund
I've been using depop for a long time without issue, a big reason I'd rely upon depop items is their policy that counterfeit selling on the platform isn't permitted. However with sites like Pandabuy giving people access to high quality, cheap fakes they've all flooded onto depop. I've reported the issue to the depop team only to have automated replies and difficulty submitting evidence of an item being fake. At this point this app is just another eBay, I'd recommend stockX for anything you want to make sure is genuine. Depop is now just eBay with higher service fees. Edit: after speaking to depop staff (took 2 months to get a hold of someone after about 10 emails) the reason they cited as to why I couldn't receive a refund was due to it being 30 days from the date of purchase (shipping included) despite the fact that their support team took months to reply. I'd definitely not use this app for any high ticket item and would always negotiate any purchases through PayPal goods and services as the service fee is simply not worth paying to depop

What a wasted opportunity
Don't even waste your time, they ban pretty much everyone eventually. This site is trash, and the company will eventually go under because of it.

Shopping prices
I don't get why I could buy something for 5$ but Depop just decides to make the shipping like 15.99$ which comes to a total in where I can just go buy the original shirt new and cheaper. This app is second handed,, shipping shouldn't be that ridiculously high if the prices aren't either. I have boughten some stuff but Depop change your shipping requirements cause it's ridiculous that I'm paying almost 90$ bucks when the product itself is already used and cheaper

I really enjoy using this app! I even had an issue with a seller that disappeared on me and depop return my money within a couple hours. I'm satisfied with this app
