The app negatively affects my abili ty to drive safely. An example that happened today I was driving over an overpass and going down the other side at 20 mph when the green light turned to yellow and I had to apply my brakes enough to stop before the red light because there was other traffic coming. I could have went through the yellow light and it wouldn't have hurt my score but I chose to do the safe thing which was put on my brakes enough to stop before the red light. this is just one example

Too intrusive, burns cell phone battery. This app wants my location all the time, not just when driving. I don't think so!

State farm drive safe app
I thought we would like doing this but this app definitely needs changes done to it or the beacons they send you do ! It will say your speeding when your not ! The acceleration is constantly saying I need improvement and the braking does the same ! I must drive pretty darn good since I have never had a wreck in my life and I am 67 years old ! And been driving since I was 15 years old ! If this keeps up I will be returning these beacons to State Farm !

I don't mind having a tattletale while I'm driving. I'm a good driver but the feature that earns this a 0 star rating from me is the fact that I'm forced to turn off my battery saver to use it. Not just when I'm in the car but ALL THE TKME. Seriously debating if the measly savings are worth it.

Grossly inaccurate
I drive around 3 miles to work. I drove directly to work one morning, and then drove directly home that evening. When I looked at the trips on the app, it showed that I drove .[address]and then stopped. It then showed that I drove 5.4 miles home. When I looked at the map, it was obvious to me that the app had fused the the rest of the morning trip with the evening trip. Additionally, I keep getting dinged for cornering. However, I put forth an effort to corner in an appropriate manner. It's very subjective in its standards.

Terrible app. The drive safe and save dashboard only provides the last two weeks feedback. Feedback has been in the high 90s for the past six month and the discount is only $4.19/six months. App dashboard and trip logs does not reflex what you get for a discount. Expect drastic changes in your premium with no answer on how to increase the discount.

State farm scams you with this App. It jumps your insurance up even if you get perfect scores. Hell mine went up $30usd upon installation. Since then it keeps rising.
