Awful service. It was working great until the last few days. For some reason, it stopped connecting. I tried deleting and reinstalling, I tried reconnecting from scratch, I even called my bank, who verified everything was OK on their end. I called Empower and told them what was going on and the steps I took to resolve it. The rep (Jan) said she sent me an email giving me the steps to fix the issue. The steps were the same as what I had already tried. Useless. No help at all.

Don’t waste your time.
It was connected to my credit union, and now suddenly Empower “my bank account won't accept transfers” when I was able to receive and pay before. They won't get paid until they can connect my account, because there's no other way for me to pay them back. Might as well delete the app.

DONT USE THIS APP
everything was fine after using it for a few months. but just a week ago I was relinked my bank back to the app. I bank with Navyfederal and they were immediately able to detect that my online banking info was compromised through this app. Luckily, navyfed caught it before it could be used. I've emailed multiple times to get my money back from autosave and to close the account but no response. if this is solved soon. I will be taking legal action.

I have submitted the requests and emailed these people telling them every time to cancel my account and stop charging me for an account I'm not even using and yet no response from none of them! And yet they are still charging my account and more than once a month more like twice this month now! And my account is still not closed!! How are these thieves and scammers still in business? Wake up people they just robbing you blind! This can't be legal!! It's like they don't understand English!!!

Worked great, but always kept losing connection with bank. Would reconnect eventually. But today, after paying back, I cannot get back reconnected and for things to work so I can get the $250 eligible advance. Tried several times.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - APP GLITCHING AGAIN
Yet again I find myself with issues with this app upon repayment. The worst part is that the customer service is so terrible. They have a Live Chat function on the app that doesn't work, trying to call is a joke; the only option you get is via email which takes them a whole day to answer. People be needing assistance THE SAME DAY!! I complained before about this and the Developers response was hilariously inept which was for me to send another email. The App Store really needs to look into this.

Even after canceling my account they still charged me a subscription fee, refused to refund it.
