Not working well at all

I'm shocked at how poorly this so called navigation app performs. I've paid the monthly fee and basically what a rip off. Most of the UK map I have fully downloaded and registered for the app passport to get the pro version. But my goodness what a waste of time and money. I will cancel the subscription and never bother with this one again.

Anyone using this map should be prepared for the fact that abbreviations, up or down hills can be life-threatening. We've been with it twice. There is no indication of which road is dangerous, and if you go in one direction, chances are there is no going back, whether you want to get up or down.

a lesson learned the hard way

I have used maps.me for more years than I can remember mostly while traveling eg. ten months in Europe 2019 where it was the most important tool for navigation by far - what is the lesson? NEVER update software that is working well, I am currently on the Camino Francés and I updated maps.me thinking I might get more up to date albergue information but now when I need to determine a point to point walking distance maps.me now draws the most bizarre most indirect path imaginable taking as much as twice the true distance, other categories do not seem to be affected, just walking - otherwise maps.me has been great, hope this gets fixed soon
