Olio Volunteers treated like dirt
After having been a volunteer for 4.5 years collecting surplus food and sharing it with my local community, I have been banned from Olio for supposedly having numerous accounts. I have only had one account at the time I was banned. The only thing I think of is that I signed into my account on another device, so my wife could help me list my collection as sometimes I had a large collection with Use By items that had to be collected by midnight. My opinion of Olio has gone down hill since being banned. If you don't want an account being banned, just use it on one device.

I wouldn't bother downloading this app as the Olio admin tean do not monitor it correctly and allowing bullying and victimisation to occur, people trying to abide by the rules are penalized and banned but people who fail to adere to tge rule face no penalization or ban. Worse app on app store

The app itself is easy to use and the community within its great. Lost 2 star as I keep getting the blame as a FWH for something that isn't my fault. Update, loses another star because they just randomly shut my account down with no explanation. There needs to be a rival organization so olio improves their game

Be aware it's SCAM AND DONT PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTION. Your ability will be restricted, seeing listings postponed. When you are scamed by Heroes - who share the food - there will be no help. App itself is Great idea but in hands of greedy tyrants

5 star app for years. Loved it. Told many people about it. Now you have to watch an ad to view a listing. I get that money needs to be made or costs covered, but unfortunately I'm not in a position to pay for something like this so I'll probably just end up going back to listing on FB. Such a shame.
