This is not a "free" dating app. Sure you can download it for free but they charge $50+ to actually see who likes you and be able to actually talk to them. These dating apps are a scam.

Ignore their polite responses here. Every time i edit, i get the same reply. The app is overbearing and far from any type of free use. Every time i go to try it again, it reminds me why i hate this app. It tries to force you to categorize yourself into narrow descriptions and makes you choose between pieces of your personality to display. No one can be genuine here because the app forces you against yourself. Plenty of fish tries too hard to control users and should just shut down already.

Spent $60 for a membership only to experience a pop-up notification that says "sorry, this user is looking for a different type of person" in response to almost EVERY MESSAGE I try to send. These women are way too picky. Complete waste of time and money.

Quite honestly PoF has the most atrocious mods. Report a scammer using a fake city, state combo? Not removed. Report scammer listed as black with pic of white woman (or vice versa)? Not removed. Report violations of pics with kids (against site rules)? Apparently the mods are pedophiles because nothing is done. The mods are a damn joke with 95% or so of female profiles being completely fake. PoF doesn't care because of all the married woman posing as single for streaming & idiots giving them $$.

Update: So my point from my original review still stands that while I am getting more people liking my account. The unfortunate thing is that there are so many fakes and bots that you cannot find a real person it seems. I have reported at least 15+ accounts at this point each one taken down, but it's just ridiculous that there doesn't seem to be any real people. I can only give it 2 stars because while they are actively taking down fakes, there are just too many to make this app worth it to use.
