Do not trust them
Hired a sitter from their site to watch my two dogs. The sitter would stay less than 5 minutes instead of the 30 minute or hour time frame I had paid for. At one point she did not show up and my dogs were left alone for 24 hours straight. After having my experience “reviewed” I was given a partial refund and suspended indefinitely from their site, while the sitter is still on the site booking appointments. Make that make sense.

Latest update deleted meet and greet scheduling in pending requests, worthless

Great idea but beware of the fees at booking. A posted price of $60 for a service didn't include a $27 fee by the seller or a $15 fee from Rover and taxes we're on top of all that. Total price for the $60 service was over $115. We'll use this if we're stuck but it was almost double the price of businesses in the area A 10-20% service fee or a taking a cut from the seller who can adjust their prices accordingly is fine. 70-75% is wrong. Even Ticket Master thought your fees were high

would give zero stars. I've been trying to book a house sitter and rover will not tell you the price until you submit a request. I've been trying to. Book a dog and cat but some sitters don't specify if there's more for additional pets even though they all have different rates. This means that you may submit a request for a sitter for 3 days expecting it to be around 90-100$ only for the total to be 150$ between additional pet and rover fees that you pay or waste sitters time as it's to much.

Difficult to manage, I signed up to take care of dogs, now I need a care for my dog and the application tells me that I already have an account with my phone and I cannot contact any caregiver, I don't like this application it's a shame.

Rover walker for over 4 years
I have been a full-time sitter/walker on Rover for I want to say 4-5 years and the app has just gotten worse and worse and worse. I update and it doesn't matter how many times I updated the app, as of lately it won't load Rover cards, won't send Rover cards, and takes forever to pull up and will buffer for 5 mins or more. I close the app and reopen it. And I have LTE service. I have posted about this on social media apps, and people who don't even live in my state have also been having the same problems. I think for the simple fact that they take money from us they should be using the money to have a better app because it literally has gotten so much crappier over the last few years and I'm sick of it. I literally have had to resort to texting owners photos of their dogs because the app literally will not load or send the cards when I actually finish walking these dogs, I have to literally go back in and try and resend them multiple times. Figure it out Rover.

Extremely time-consuming and in the end they take your money but not your profile.

Hard to archive. Things stay in "pending" status when they are not pending and no way to archive or cancel.

Fix the bugs, please. Cards wont send in time. Sometimes can't upload photos REQUIRED for the walks. Good for starting out...
