I'm sorry never write reviews but this latest update is absolutely terrible!! not user-friendly at all when you reopen the app it doesn't reopen to where you left. It just will probably cancel my subscription.

Disaster of an app
I've used the Sirius XM app for about 8 years. The latest version is a frustrating mess. I got an email touting the “improvements” made to the app. Seriously???? I primarily used the on demand function to play episodes of my favorite music programs while I workout. I'd start an episode, shut the app when I finished my workout, and resume the episode the next time I'd workout. Now I'm no longer able to resume where I left off. The episode just begins again. This is so frustrating. Like I said, I've used the app for a long time the same way on the same phone. The latest version of the app is an unstable mess. I've had the app change channels in the middle of an episode. I don't need an algorithm to tell me what I like. I used to look forward to listening to my favorite shows, but not anymore. I've submitted a couple of detailed feedback forms but I doubt anyone reads them. The developers are apparently so busy that the courtesy of a response is too much to manage. I get it. It takes a lot of effort to make a happy customer unhappy, but they are doing a great job of it. If this doesn't get resolved soon my days with Sirius will probably come to an end. I spent my work career as a service manager in a software as a service industry. I can't believe that this software is acceptable to anyone and neither is the apparent lack of concern for the end user.

Latest Version Keeps Breaking
I love Sirius but since the new App came online I am having major issues. I like to listen to long form shows and when I hit pause on a show and come back to it an hour later to pick up where I left off, the shows keep restarting. Never had this issue in the previous apps. It's a super pain in the butt to find the minute where I stopped listening to the shows and making me question why I keep paying for Sirius after 20 years of usage. I have reinstalled the app and the same issues persist. I keep submitting complaints on the app but have not seen anything change so I am resorting to writing a review here. Please fix this issue or I am canceling my membership.

New app is terrible
The new app constantly has issues. It doesn't keep playing when my phone goes to sleep, there is always lag, and it's not nearly as intuitive as the previous versions.

Would be nice if this app would ever function properly with Chromecast. It doesn't find any of my castable devices. No other app this problem.

Buffering Every Few Minutes
The Apple app buffers every 20 minutes on any station on both my iPhone and iPad. I listen in my home, the hallway of my fully wired apt. building, in my office, at the grocery store . . . This happens even when I have a strong Wi-Fi connection and plenty of bars. I close the station, open it back up and it is still spinning. I log out of my account and go back in. Problem still happening. I've missed news stories, sports plays and commentary, and podcast content is disrupted. I'm almost ready to turn to Tune In or Audacy. It's not worth paying for a subscription that I can't reliably listen to.
