Terrible internet connection and mediocre customer service
I was so ready to love T-mobile. They were the most affordable internet, and one of the only providers in my area so I was excited to try them. But they proved to be such a disappointment. The internet worked perfectly for a month or maybe two, and then it completely stopped working. Suddenly we had near 0 mbps download/upload speeds, couldn't stream tv or movies or game. I don't want to assume things but it felt to me like it was intentionally slowed down, like they wanted to force us to upgrade or something? I reached out to customer service and went through the troubleshooting and it would get better for a day or two and then be crappy again. I reached out again to customer service and they said that the towers near me were being repaired and it would be back to normal soon. I got that answer again when I talked to them a month later, so I figured that was probably just a lie. I then cancelled my account and sent the equipment back and they are still trying to charge me for the last month of service even though we had NO connection for the last 2-3 months…. Customer service claims they are working on it and they have to review my request to not pay…. 🙄 At least the customer service team acts like they care and are kind I guess, but if they don't have the power to actually fix anything then what's the point? I should have just started with AT&T to begin with. They have a nearly identical price and are way more reliable. (We've been using AT&T since April and have had no issues whatsoever so far) my advice is just get AT&T.
