App or website won’t let me create an account
I got one of these cameras and went to try and set up an account and the app nor the website have a place for me to create a new account. When I go to the website and click “need a new account” it just gives me a number to call instead of allowing me to create one. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

App is good but could be better
New Customer. We haven't had any issues with using the app (or Vivint) but the app doesn't have a way to easily, temporarily mute notifications from cameras. It becomes very annoying when mowing the lawn, during a storm etc that there is no way to silence the notifications for a period of time. My phone & watch constantly reminding me person in my front yard is quite annoying when it's just me or a tree blowing just slightly into the detection zone. The quality of the app is better than Ring and especially Blink's…but they have the option to mute and I miss that feature, especially since you could simply do it when prompted on your watch. I'm sure this is a highly requested feature that hopefully they'll find a way to add. I'm aware you can go into each camera individually and manually turn of notifications but I only want to do it temporarily, easier and not also worry about if I turned it back on or not. Please!?

Takes a long time to view
When opening up the app, it takes a long time to open up a camera. If someone rings the door by the time I got the camera open on my phone whoever was at the door is gone. There is a glitch and a loading problem.

Ugh! This app is so frustrating and disappointing! It keeps freezing on me, and it won't work anywhere else unless I'm connected to the same wifi as the one connected to the base. You should really fix these issues. What is the point of having the app if it won't work. The app is free, but the service is not, and we should be able to have peace of mind when we're away. Please fix these problems.

Nothing but a white screen
My service got turned off once and the App hasn't worked since. I keep getting a stupid message of “we'd love to have back”

Don't know what's going on wt the app, but I'm not able to see anything or do anything in my account and when I hit support button, the screen just closes out!

Team Android, We have asked for help, waited on hold, troubleshot till blue in the face. We know this is not a camera, smart hub, router, etc. issue. Our issue with video playback lies with the Android app. This must be addressed as these reviews here, and the time we've spent troubleshooting are a testament to a real problem that is not us!!! Spoke to an awesome rep today and put in a support ticket for the app. Boys and girls, I think a wave of support tickets is in order! United we stand!!!

Don't do it! Do not buy Vivint! Only had vivint for about 5 months and wish I never did. Should of stuck with my RING camera!! Nothing but issues with vivints spotlight,thermostat, and even main hub. I've probably wasted at least 5 hours of my life waiting and talking to customer service trying to troubleshoot. It eventually works but shouldn't have to waste my time.. We pay good money for the equipment and service and it shouldn't be this
