The sleep and recovery score is inaccurate, it'll say you have 85% recovery and great sleep but you tossed and turned all night and feel awful all day from bad sleep so not very reliable. Also the customer service is abysmal, I've contacted whoop 3x in the last 1.5 months trying to get my strap updated to the 4.0 because the option doesn't exist for me in the app, they have never responded... once my 3.0 strap becomes unusable (very soon) I'm just getting rid of it and sticking to garmin.

OMG DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET COSTOMER SUPPORT, SEND WRONG BANDS, CHARGES A FULL YEAR INSTANTLY AFTER THE FREE TRIAL. BAND HAS BEEN BROKEN WEEKS AND COSTOMER SERVICE WONT GET BACK TO ME

Useful information once you get used to it. Sleep tracker occasionally misses part of sleep cycle. I like the Strain and Recovery ranking system because it simplifies data into actionable info. Much more practical on a day to day basis than a FitBit.

Scam app: you cannot remove credit card once you have added it. Even if you cancel subscription, your credit card details will always remain except if you provide a new credit card. You can't set it up for anyone.

Latest update
Your latest update did two things that make me less inclined to keep my membership. It notifies me that I should turn the whoop app back on to record my data the moment that I close the app. (Why anyone thought an annoying notification was a good idea is beyond me). You also put a red dot in the upper right hand corner indicating a recharge is needed even when I'm at 58%. The red light gives me anxiety and I'm less interested in looking at the screen.

Shady Subscription Tactics
This is the first review I have ever written. Whoop was a great app. I decided to cancel not because of the product or features, but because I couldn't justify the cost. I get all the same data in a better form factor with oura at a fraction of the cost. I do majority of things on mobile and there was no way I could cancel my subscription, even on their mobile website. Since I didn't have access to a computer, I forgot and got charged. Not having subscription management available on the app or mobile web easily accessible is just shady. It's a tactic a lot of subscription businesses use to help prevent churn because they intentionally add friction. On top of that, they avoid Apple subscription management which makes it even harder to keep track of all subscriptions users have but understandably to avoid fees. Whoop you lost me for life from this experience and it's clear to see you have to use these tactics to support your dwindling growth and boom from [name]. Best of luck and good riddance.
