It's a good app, but the free daily lessons are too short, and I don't want to sign up for a monthly subscription.

Most signs are wrong this is misleading for many people that are new to ASL pls pls pls go learn from deaf people. pay deaf people to teach you not hearing people that can't even build a sound app. Attend local deaf socials etc just not this.

Good, but wrong in the first lesson where you have to write about ice cream is good, but the language says ice cream is bad.

They follow the model from Duolingo which is think works great. It's not nearly as fleshed out but it works well enough. One pretty major and easily fixable issue is that sometime the actresses signing are clearly signing multiple words and for single word lessons sometimes the developer doesn't trim enough of the video so you're left wondering if the extra hand movement is a part of the answer or not. I also noticed a few words that seem to be either out of date or simply preformed incorrectly. I'm sure you would still get your point across but if I'm going to pay for an app I'd expect the signs to be overseen by an actual signing expert. There doesn't appear to be chapter lessons or overviews which is probably the biggest downer. Overall it's worth downloading and trying and then deciding if you wanna continue past the trial or not. Hi, so I don't pay for premium subscription so I can only do the free daily lesson and it's been going great! But now it's just been redoing all the lessons I did before, not cool. Over all it's not bad but DEFINITELY not worth the subscription. Please please please fix this so I can keep learning cause that's not cool.

I love the app, especially the dictionary. I'm really confused about the subscription, though. It says it was canceled a year ago, yet it's acting like I never canceled? If I can use the app for free now, then great! But I'm paranoid that it's going to charge me at some point. Maybe there is a bug. Idk how to message them about it besides this review.
