This app is slow and it is very hard to set up external transfers or bill payments. Everytime I try, it either takes a long time or the app gives me an error.

Bad experience withdrawing my money. Put a withdrawal request back in April that's suppose to take 5 business days. TWO MONTHS later, I still haven't seen it yet and that's with customer support. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

You would think an online only bank could manage an app, yet ….
This is the worst app I have ever used. It's slow, it's “in maintenance” half the time, it freezes the other half. I don't think it's unreasonable to have high expectations for an online-only bank, but this app doesn't even meet normal expectations. Incredibly disappointing and we are likely going to have to change banks again because of it.

Impossible to deposit a check + numerous other issues
I've been trying all morning to deposit a check into my account. I do this all the time with Wells Fargo and never once had an issue in over 10 years. The app states to sign “for axos mobile deposit only” on the check - okay, done. About 30 mins later, I'll get an email saying “deposit rejected - signature line is insufficient”. I finally called and was told I also need to sign my name - umm, it doesn't say anywhere to do that in the instructions but okay, I'll try… Surprise, 30 minutes later, I get an email saying “deposit rejected - signature line is insufficient”. The 0.1% higher interest rate they're offering on savings accts compared to CitiBank is simply not worth it. There have been so many issues with this bank and I've only been a customer for a few weeks. I'm going to pull out my money this week and close my accounts. Choose a real bank. You'll thank yourself in the end.
