Used to be good, unusable since the AI update

Used to be great for showing how to work through problems. Ever since the AI update, questions I send to “experts” are just answered by AI, and 9 times out of 10 it either just restates the question in the answer or makes up false equations that if you try to use don't actual work. The only thing Chegg is useful for anymore is accessing old questions that were answered by real people before this update, and even then you have to search through google to find those questions.

After the new update, when you ask a question, it no longer gives you the answer. Instead, it will give you multiple "expert" explanations but no answer.

I never used Chegg, because I never needed it. I finally came across some complicated statistics that I actually needed help for. Chegg advertised explanations for the exact problems I was struggling with, so I bit the bullet and paid for the service. Every. Single. Answer. Was wrong. Their explanations were also totally wrong, and completely overlooked essential steps. False advertisement and wasted money.

The previous update shows they don't want people asking questions any more. First it tries to find an already answered question for you in a popup, then it takes you to a page with more already answered questions, and in the midst of that, if you look closely, there is an option to send it to an expert. Then, it takes over a day to get an answer. It sometimes tries to auto-generate an answer with AI, which is amazing, but not very helpful. It's like they're trying to show off how savvy they are.

My opinion it's a 1/10 cz it js repeats the same questions n doesn't tell u the answers. And if u want the answers u have to pay $10.

I miss handwritten solutions on Chegg. I'm sure making typed solutions mandatory on Chegg was done with the best intentions, but it seems to have left both students and tutors disgruntled, especially in technical fields, where typing in LaTeX can be cumbersome, especially since the plug-ins/apps aren't very user-friendly. A couple of my friends who used to tutor regularly on the app have stopped for this reason and even I've noticed a general dip in the answer quality.

The service is good but I kept getting charged twice for the same account. $20.9 and $16.63 per month. I tried contacting chegg for support but I didn't receive any response. Terrible support.
