Mobile Deposit
Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to make a mobile deposit. Don't have this issue with another bank I use.

Horrible app
Crap app. Keep getting error messages at the final step of depositing a check. 🙄 The app also struggles to take a photo for check deposits (and I'm on a new, high quality iPhone) Enjoy wasting hours with customer support. Highly flawed.

Deposits are glitchy
The camera for taking images is super annoying. Now that most branches are closing am thinking of opening another account to facilitate banking. ATM cards are very easy to forget as the system give the card back after the transaction, stupid idea.

Deposit check system
Your Deposit a check option work very poorly. It takes me 10 minutes! every time until I can scan the check. I know I'm doing it right because in the rest of the banks' apps I'm succeeding for the first time every time.

So bad I am changing banks!
Key functions (eg depositing a check) simply do not work, and the agents in the chat function have no remedies other than uninstalling and reinstalling the app. As I am reliant on mobile banking during lockdown, I have no choice to change bank and mortgage provider to get away from HSBC. UPDATE: scrolling back through other reviews, HSBC have been given this feedback on uploading checks for Months and DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

When are you going to fix the other versions of this app globally. There still failing in other countries such as Australia. There has been no feedback on that side, it is annoying to constantly log in online.

Can’t use app after recent update
It keeps on crashing on my iPhone6 after the most recent update. Please help to look into this problem. Thanks!
