Nixplay - Latest Quality Issues

There is no way to directly load photos from my Google Photos app, even from an album shared with Nix Play, to the active playlist on a frame. This pretty much renders this borderline useless to me to sync photos to parents frame. Get a better frame, or better yet, just get a Google device.

Disastrous app, full of bugs
The app is not usable: The "Delete" function via the app only works for a single user. As soon as several users are allowed to access the frame, the supposedly deleted photos will also remain in the album and on the frame. We had deliberately chosen the Nixplay frame, which is twice as expensive, because external deletion is not possible with the cheaper system. If it's advertised here but still doesn't work, it's not worth the extra expense.

Buggy, doesn't support Android pixel phone videos, won't upload multiple videos when selected, can't find photos in all libraries, some libraries are oldest first, recent last, can't edit heic photos from iPhones

It's a nice photoframe but very complicated to use.

Easy to set up frame and account. A little less intuitive settibg up albums and sharibg them, but easy once you do it the first time. App does not really let you control the way the frame cycles through photos. Picture quality is excellent.

My frame won't connect to the internet after several years of use. In the app it tells me it's disconnected from my wifi but give no way to reconnect. Absolutely terrible!

Lack of privacy
The frame somehow requires to have access to all your photos when it should only be a selected few. Breach of respect and privacy of their clients

App has gotten worse compared to a few years ago. Uploading a few photos takes forever to complete. At the end of the process not all photos are uploaded.
