Do not subscribe
Do not subscribe. It is impossible to unsubscribe! The unsubscribe instructions are bogus! There is no “cancel” button under subscription and payments. I will be contacting the DIA as Readly breaches the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 in New Zealand

Finally managed to cancel my subscription; the app is completely ruined by the stupid “article view” pop up. Note to app developers; pop ups are annoying and completely unnecessary on the iPad interface, and if you must persist at least give the user the opportunity to turn it off.

I loved Readly and have used it daily for a long time. The UI changes are a total mess, to the extent I am considering cancelling. I hope the changes are reverted quickly or at least something else is tested. This "Most popular" above the things I want to read... it makes no sense, surely Readly can see I've never read these gossip rags so why push them at me? It's the enshittification cycle again. Time to cancel I guess. Edit: I didn't ask a question, I said I wasn't happy. Useless reply.

Used to be good, but crashed often. Now it's priced itself out of the market. Used to be 7.99, but has had a huge price hike to 12.99. only good value if you actually buy about 3 physical mags a month. Then it might be worthwhile. But if you ever end your subscription you won't have anything. Good if you want to see archived in magazines. Maybe they should have two prices one with only access to archive magazines and the other to access latest editions.

Good when it works
Offline reading often doesn't work as advertised, which is beyond annoying when on a flight or on the Tube. Otherwise it's great.

That's it for me now...
I've been a Readly subscriber for many years and I'm actually very happy. Every now and then something was changed on the app - I didn't like everything, but ok. I was able to come to terms with it. What annoyed me was that some magazines that I liked to read were then discontinued. (But it was still available in print, so I don't think it was the publisher's fault). But even then I overlooked it. With the current price increase to almost 15 EUR, however, it is now finally over for me. Pretty hard stuff, I think. I migrated to a competitor for half the price, which also has all my magazines on offer. For me, readly definitely doesn't have any added value here.

Why no yearly subscription pricing?
As the title says why no option to subscribe yearly at a discounted rate? Surely in 2024 (you) recognise greed too inflate your shareholders is disgusting especially because its customers who ultimately pay (and) with your competitors ALL offering yearly discounted pricing it makes it simple where too spend your money. Then we get to the option that any individual with a library card can access 99% of ALL magazines free via apps that work with libraries again taking business away from you because of your greed. Yes, a well designed app and good selection of magazines but taken at a whole just isn't worth a subscription.

Terrible New Layout
The April 2024 software update makes it very difficult to easily choose the magazines you would normally want to read. I have been a subscriber for a few years now but am considering cancelling my subscription if this is not sorted.

Just increase subscription fees by 3 euros without information and debit them without giving me the chance to cancel in advance. Outrageous and dubious!! Termination is therefore out. I certainly don't accept your offer of 8.99 for 6 months after this impudence. No matter if you pass on the largest share as is claimed, sending out an email with the info would not have been too much to ask.
