You can no longer make payments via debit card in app. Took me half an hour to pay via phone they want you to pay by signing into your bank account telling you just how safe and simple it is blah blah. Closed my accounts because this feature was lost and it's too complicated to do it over the automated system.

Avoid, can NO LONGER PAY THE BILL BY DEBIT CARD IN THE APP.... you have to call and go through multiple press this number,press that number, then a stupid long wait,so far ive managed to pay 5 cards and check emails,do a mortgage search, and still on hold to pay just this card... absolutely disgusting, especially as you used to be able to pay in the app, if payment by debit card is Not put back on the app, I WILL LEAVE VIRGIN MONEY

This app used to be nice and friendly to use,now I can't even open the app,it just closes and crashes.I don't know what's happened, but it needs a fix quickly.

Frustrating app
Too many times now I've tried to carry out an internet transaction and when it diverts me to this app to approve it nothing happens when you select authorise payment, the ‘M' just spins and no matter how long you leave it nothing happens. Tried to go through chat feature on app, it doesn't work, just a white screen with a back button, doesn't load and no option to load. Useless app.

Live chat
Live chat doesn't seem to be working for me. I select live chat, it goes through to the page but it's blank. I've checked to make sure my phone is not blocking pop ups but still not working. Any advice would be appreciated.

Clunky, awful app. 10 screen changes to make a payment.
I openly state upfront, I loved the previous bank it was, Yorkshire Bank, and after initial r]teething issues, their app experience was sweet and both the credit card and the current account resided in the self-same app. Halcyon days…now, I just made an extra one-off payment from my current account, to the credit card using the credit card app Virgin supply, this app…it invokes the safari browser, it invokes the current account app, as well as this app…the screens flick this way and that, I feverishly search each new an unfamiliar page thrown at me, and tap the next different thing to move the sluggard process on… This is garbage as a process not least because it looks EXACTLY like it would if a hostile actor were trying to scam you. The flicking of pages and in and out of the browser, screams ‘junkyard app', and ‘cobbled-together' is the best description I could come up with. It's a security risk and a clunky bunch of garbage, I assume it's to do with the latest takeover of this bank. As a customer I am not impressed. I genuinely hate my bank now. It's not even funny, they're rubbish and interactions are like being in the 1970's like I say. I did the 1970's, I don't want to go back there. A terrible and backward bank that has made my banking experience much worse.
