The new updates made the e.dentifier device useless and forcing you to wait 4 hours to access (your own) money! And no option to change that! The execuse of protecting people against scammers is really not convincing and just feels like you're restricting people from accessing their own money!

Not possible to transfer money directly
In case of unexpected payments, waiting 4 hours is a big problem to get your limit adjusted

Doet what should do but....
Does what it's supposed to do but... Don't know who decided on the dark green for the buttons and text, but that doesn't work well with accessibility. Guess it hasn't even been thought about. The white text with dark green is more tiring for those with poorer eyesight, i.e. the elderly. And the dark green text with black creates a wandering text feeling. In the dark, both effects are worse

I always need the latest version to pay online, but I've already updated the latest version, so it just keeps sending me back without letting me pay

Great app with a few points for improvement
Great app, just need more adapted color use for color blind. Furthermore, failed payments remain in the app, even if I delete them with online banking. Furthermore, I can't delete failed payments in the app.

Since the update, someone who is authorized can see my accounts in their app, even though I never gave permission to do so. Another delegate won't see this data. Information to revoke this applies to the old app, and these instructions won't work for the new app. The delegates never abused it, but I (and the delegates) are not happy about the fact that this is now shown in the update when no permission has been given for it!

Dark mode doesn't work with this app. Can I set that up somewhere in the abn app? I have android 14 (6.1).

Whether you want to do your banking fast and securely, make iDEAL payments, easily make secure calls to our customers services or update your personal data and preferences, you can do it all with the ABN AMRO app.



But of course that’s not all. You can also:
• view your transactions, balance and bank accounts
• block or unblock your debit card or request a replacement
• make transfers and schedule payment orders
• log in to Internet Banking
• get notifications about credits, debits or direct debits
• send a Tikkie payment request
• add your accounts held with other banks to your overview.



Using the ABN AMRO app for the first time
If you already have an ABN AMRO current account, you can start using the ABN AMRO app right away. Make sure you have your debit card and your e.dentifier ready for the registration. You need them to set up the app. After that, you’ll only need your debit card and e.dentifier to confirm certain payments.



New client? Open a bank account in the app
It’s easy to open your first ABN AMRO current account in the app, without going to a branch. You can usually also open the account in the app using an international passport. 



Secure banking in the app
The app lets you log in and confirm lots of orders using the 5-digit identification code of your choice, your fingerprint or Face ID. It is important that you use your device with care, so be sure to keep your personal identification code secret, just like your PIN. Also only register your own fingerprint or face on your device.
