the app; doesn't work, at least for me, properly. The blue line through which I can follow how I walk disappears and a warning signal that I am walking the wrong way is sometimes given and sometimes not. Does anyone have an idea why that is. The chat box doesn't understand what I mean.

Great when it works

So frustrating that it'll just give up sometimes and lose miles of hiking progress because *who know why.* It's your one job, app. Endlessly frustrating that it routinely screws it up.

I have always found the menu navigation exhausting, but I didn't care because the app has a route planner. But now it has been decided not to work with Open Street Map anymore and the Alltrails maps are a disaster in my opinion. In particular, villages or buildings in general are not significantly displayed. If you go jogging, especially where you don't have any local knowledge, that's very bad. My subscription has just been renewed, but I will cancel it.

In the beginning, I could simply display the current map. After each update, it gets harder. Now I can only walk suggested routes. Not recommended for laymen. And that for 30 €. Will quit next year.

Great app / social media not so much.

The app and yearly service is well worth it. But…..the major flaw with the app is the social media/ posting pop ups. It is annoying if you choose not to be bothered with social media and there's no way to disable these pop-ups from bothering you each time you finish a trail.

No OCM maps

I've been using AllTrails for a few years, currently missing the OCM maps. The cycle paths for the individual regions were stored here, these maps are obviously no longer offered. For me an absolute no go, planning for bike tours is therefore no longer possible. I will cancel the subscription.
