Useless..
Yes, the GUI is good but the actual forecasts change so regularly to render them well, pointless. 10 days? It's not accurate over 2. Both MeteoGroup and the Met Office don't seem to understand the definition of ‘forecasting' It's not sticking your head out the window and telling us what the weather is currently doing - we can see it ourselves? I'm sure they'd argue it's very difficult to predict at a local level - fine. Why bother then?

Misleading
When I look at the DAYS weather it will show a symbol that is only for about 1 hour of that days weather , you only get a true picture when select the day and look at the weather by the hour, eg Tuesday this week showed a dark cloud with a rain drop however when I click on that day the only time there was this symbol was 4pm to 5pm ! The most of the day it was sunny and cloud so why display the dark cloud with a raindrop on the days weather ?

This was a great app but has been getting worse in recent months. The widget is incredibly slow!

Barely functional
Widget for this app is brilliant. But once you go into the app, well, it just doesn't work-so no checking weather for tomorrow or the next day. If you only need to know what you can see out the window then this is the app for you.

Broken
It was a superb app, but at some point in the past few weeks it simply stopped functioning properly on my iPad mini. Todays weather is visible hour by hour and the day by day view, but it's not possible to get hourly views for tomorrow or further future days any more.

Symbol liar
The symbols used to summarise the day show a very depressed view of the day. Recently a day marked as black cloud with rain, when you looked at the detail there was just one such symbol, the rest were white cloud, some with rain and there were 7 with full sun. The actual day had no rain. This winter has been long, depressing and difficult for many. The poor performance of this section of the app needs URGENT review. So that it doesn't significantly add to people's health problems.

Rain
App telling me 0% chance of rain all day. We've already had 2 rain showers. Also don't understand why weather symbol for future days show rain cloud for that day even if rain is only forecast for under 50% for couple of hours in eve for eg

It’s ok…..
This weather app really does have its pros and cons. I find that the rain readings to often be un-accurate. While planning a trip for Thorpe Park with my friends the rain was saying 100% for the whole day.We were slightly disappointed because they were non refundable tickets but that's besides the point . We were so pleasantly surprised when we got there that the weather was great. Similar situations happened like this. Weirdly though all the sunny weather reports were so accurate. I find this app to be hit and miss and the met office app to be more reliable.

Stopped working!!
This app was working ok until I tried to open it today. It now launches the app and then freezes on the blue screen with BBC Weather logo..... and that's it. Can't update the app as it says it needs a minimum of iOS 15. Thanks BBC, you are beginning to become a dinosaur!!
