Slow, Buggy, and Full of Issues.
Prior to Blink we had a cloud camera. That camera was fantastic and the app worked great. However when they said they were no longer going to support cloud cam I become a bit frustrated as there were no issues with it. Blink on the other hand is downright terrible. I get numerous messages saying movement in the house when there are none and once the trial ended it became apparent how lackluster and useless this app and camera are. I find myself not even checking the camera due the myriad of issues I have had operating the app.

Live view doesn’t work anymore
I haven't been able to view live notifications for a while now. I just had one again and when I click to view it it just keeps circling and doesn't load. So then I click the video when it's in the list and a bear was just outside my house and at the end of the clip I can't see which direction it went now. BUT if the live view worked PROPERLY like it should ESPECIALLY since you have to PAY for it to have live view I would have seen it and could have looked out my window to see where it went or if it's still out there by my house. What's the point of having Ring and paying for it if it doesn't work properly!! Gonna start looking into other options

There is a better way .. but since inception NIX
So I wonder what air numbers are programming this here... In all these years, the artists have not had anything baked! N you're still waiting up to 12 seconds for the cam! Even though you have a fast network get going with the software!

Cameras won’t send you notifications unless you take daily screenshots 👎🏼
Most annoying thing about this camera system is that the Blink app will stop sending you active notifications/motion detection throughout the day unless you *manually* update the specific cameras screenshot from the app. Amazon/Blink: Please fix this issue, this is extremely irritating! At least add an “auto-updating camera screenshot” feature to eliminate this, the screenshot feature is such a joke and is so unnecessary. Either that or make the main page of the app just one live camera preview, and be able to swipe to the next screen for the next live camera preview, and so on. Similar to the old Amazon Cloud Cam app.

Cameras takes forever to load.
Cameras won't load after update. When launching cameras from alert, it just loads. I Have to come out of camera then go back to it. It's already slow enough. Plz fix

Ooh it works, ope, not again.
Update 6.24.1, suddenly all is well. No crashes, no screen freeze on live view and no failed live view. 2 days later, iOS 16.4 pops, and we're back to failed live view, freezing and crashing. Come'on man. More: The 6.24.2 update made it worse. It's just not optimized for 5G away from the home wifi. Now included with paid subscription; freeze frame and super slow-mo on live view. Oh wait, that's a continuing glitch. I bet getting rid of the continue button would help!!! 6.25.0 update: New with this update, clearer image. Thats nice. But you still get live view auto pause even on wifi and crashing on 5G still. And this is with iOS 16.5. Update 23 May 23. Nope! Still crash city.

Subscription charges out if the blue
Had these cameras for over 2 years without a need for a subscription and just found out today via email that I only have 1 week of a free trial left before my cameras become pointless unless I pay monthly? Wasn't informed that a subscription had come into place prior to this. I didn't spend nearly £200 on these for them to become decorations, fuming isn't the word. Save your money and go with someone else, very sly company for doing this.
