Can be a little confusing . I don't like how there's no dispute option . I miss the bank of the west , set up. So much easier .

Not the best bank
Been having issues with the app since I opened it and I did not like the set up process at all. Wanted to close the account but I'll need to pay $50 until the 90 days are up. So be careful if you're opening an account with BMO, I've seen many complains since their acquisition of Bank of The West and many being being frustrated, I regret opening an account and hopefully this review helps those who are thinking of opening an account with BMO.

It's usually very easy to do all kinds of bank business, but there's no way for me to check my balance without going through the entire sign-in process.

We used to have Bank of the West. We liked it a lot. But now it has become BMO, which lacks some features we had before. The mobile app is a pain. I can not use the zelle feature. Which is very frustrating. It keeps saying the feature is not available. I even uninstall and reinstalled the app, still the same. What kind app is this?

WORST BANK EVER! BEWARE!
Worst bank in California! Took over Bank of the West: Zero customer service. Longest change-over ever: over a year and still have not issued new debit cards to BotW customers who stayed. Changed all their branches but cannot be bothered to issue debit and credit cards with their BMO on it. Buy your debt, send letter saying "we are here to work with you" and then close your account that day. Customer service has been moved from US to India and nobody know anything about anything... Not Worth Constant Frustration!

It's only been eight to nine months and they're already placing restrictions on the mobile app as of June of this year even after you've provided physically and over the phone the branches I have tried other than my usual go to when they were Bank of the West they still have outdated information. My only card was blocked over a 1.99 charge that I disputed without my knowledge to the fact that BMO Blocked my business card, I did not receive a call/ text in which I do prefer/ over an email "
