Horrible system
Flex has no way to be contacted! They will take your money and not pay your rent! They'll send an email saying your rent wasn't paid but won't refund your money automatically! I now have several late fees for my unpaid rent!

Flex Won’t Let Me Cancel
Flex worked very well at first, but recently my apartment fell under new management and Flex no longer allowed me to sync my updated rent portal. Because of this, I've had to pay my full rent at the beginning of the month. Not a problem. My lease is now soon coming to an end and I have no further use for Flex. I've submitted 3 requests to cancel my account but I still have yet to receive a response. Please fix this issue.

Don’t do it
I used flex successfully for 4 months. On the 5th month I had an issue with my bank and flex did not debit me within the 3 days my property management gives you to pay online. I was able to get the property manager to open the portal and flex debited me on the 4th day. But the rent didn’t get paid. They state that they will pay rent up to the 5th day after the 1st. I emailed them in the evening on the day they debited me and I did not hear back from them until 6 days later. By that point I had no choice but to pay the entire rent plus the fees to avoid eviction. Which was terrible because that charge from them was holding up $700 in my account! Their solution was to reverse the transaction and deactivate my account. I gave them bad feedback on their customer service survey. So, when I try to reinstate my account for September, I get an email that says I can’t use Flex because I have bad credit. Bro, it’s the same credit I’ve always had. Petty, useless and not worth the potential headache of getting a 3 day pay or vacate or worse - eviction. My suggestion would be to pull out half your rent from one check and set it aside in cash. Be your own Flex. I know it’s hard but problem solve it because this company is not worth the risk and their customer service is absolutely horrifying at best.

if i could give 0 stars i would.
do not sign up for this app it’s a scam. they open a line of credit in your name and do not respond. i emailed back and forth with a “kary” from flex and she or whoever is actually behind that email gives excuse after excuse. i requested a deletion request almost two weeks ago and have not received any update or deletion on my account. definitely a scam do not sign up.

Rent not paid to property, no customer service help
Since the only way to get you to answer is by posting a review, here I go. It is the 8th and you still have not paid rent to my property. There was a technical issue on Flex’s side, and it’s showing in your app that rent got paid, but it never made it to the apartment complex. The money got reversed back to flex and you need to resubmit it to the property. I’ve been emailing you since Wednesday and you are only sending ONE email reply a day! And you’re not available on the weekend! So a grand total of 3 replies, and no ownership! Thursday you told me “your august rent is showing paid” after I already told you there was a technical issue, and after I send a screenshot from my complex and detailed instructions on what to do, I wake up to an attempted CHARGE on my debit card for half the rent THAT NEVER GOT PAID! And this wouldn’t even be due until this Friday! Somehow I’m about to have to come up with all of augusts rent at one time AND September in order to get out of this monstrosity YOU created but won’t fix!!! I need answers and you need a phone number! It even seems like the email is just an automated response!

Great at first
The service is very helpful and it worked for first few months. I’m at the point now where last week I didn’t have enough funds to cover 1st payment and they said they would charge my card on the 5th. The 5th came and I got a text saying I didn’t have enough funds still even though this was false. I emailed that same day which was Friday and everyday over the weekend and still haven’t got a response back. I am now accruing late fees and have been threatened with eviction. I need someone from flex to contact me so this can be resolved. I have had the available funds in my account since Friday and they still haven’t charged me

Update app is still trash
It’s now two days after my rent was due and they still haven’t responded to ANY of my emails. I requested a cancellation and I can’t do it until September even tho they didn’t take a single dollar of my account for my rent. This app is garbage DO NOT TRUST IT they always pull something shady This app is just laughable. I’ve read through several of the reviews and the developer responses all say “they cannot locate your contact information” which is just a way for them to by pass your low rating so they can maintain their 4.6. I emailed them several times prior to my reviews and they didn’t respond until two days later. So they most definitely have my contact information. If I could, I’d post screen shots of the emails I received AFTER my rent was late and they said they couldn’t pay my rent for august cause their emails are full of deception. Even the developer response is a joke just like their customer service!

I reactivated my account in July because I wanted to use the service for August rent..payment was not taken I’ve been emailing them for the past three days just to get a response stating my account was deactivated which is not true..zeroooooo stars
