Useless, permanently one issue after another, and then of course more useless system maintenance as the developers really barely has the faintest clue what they are doing. The absolute joy of living in South Africa being a third world county and all.....

I opened an easy payu account online on Feb,March it was closed now when im trying to relink it from the app it sends an OTP to a number I don't have and I have never used,so for mebim so disappointed and will try to make out time to go to a branch nd sort it out and never use fnb in mylife,too bad I really wanted an account with them 😔

FNB has terrible customer service. Their call centre keeps people on hold for hours at a time and nothing is ever resolved. They do not follow through with a call or email when issues aren't resolved. FNB is also double charging me for my insurance. My son's money has been stolen from his FNB account THREE times and they refuse to reimburse him or take responsibility on their side.

Overall the new design is minimalistic. The icons and UI have been simplified to provide quick actions with your banking. The problem here is the lack of innovative change for the modern banking era. This feels unoriginal and lacks the complexities needed to differentiate the banking experience from other banking apps. If the goal of this transition was to inspire "Change" then you failed, creating a system on simplicity rather than creativity.

Needing my Location always!!!
Since when does a banking app always need my location to make a payment?? I am happy to enable my location while using the app but forcing me to enable my location 24/7 even while not using the all is NOT OK!

My accounts screen doesn't even scroll on this new app, I am unable to see what's going on with my other accounts except the top one

FNB Banking App - Product Description
The FNB Banking App embraces the future of help and our new look and feel will do just that 
Some features to look out for: 

Simple straight-forward navigation – We’ve added bottom navigation to make it easier to find what you need, when you need it. 
Switch users easily – Multiple profiles?  No problem!  Switch seamlessly between different user profiles by selecting profiles located on the bottom navigation and then select “switch user”. 
Introducing the Action Panel – Bringing your banking features front and center, like payments, transfers, my cards, and cash withdrawals. 
Chat Pay – A revolutionary new feature called Chat Pay that allows you to pay any FNB customer via a simple chat, all within FNB’s secure ecosystem giving you peace of mind that the person you are paying has been verified and approved.  It’s that simple. 

What is Pay? 
We have renamed Payments to Pay.  This feature will provide you with access to categories within payments such as pay, receive, pay bills, payment settings, and payment history. 

What is Secure Messaging? 
Chat to other FNB/RMB customers securely on the App by granting access to your contact list.  Features within Secure Messaging include Chat Pay, voice notes, attachments, share location, etc.
