Too many updates
I think it is ridiculous that we have to “update” our app so often, lately it seems like it's once a week! I don't want to waste my data!

Kroger's apps are among the worst in grocery. It's actually a pain to use the Fred Meyer app. For starters, the UI is terrible—clunky, heavy, & confusing. The app needs a significant overhaul or rebuild from scratch. Please see Safeway & Walmart for how a grocery app should look & feel like. Additionally, it's very slow on startup, ads often won't load (the new ad format is awful, btw—trash it), cpns can't be clipped within the ad, accessing cpns takes too many taps, & cpn filters don't work.

Constant authentication issues
Seemingly unable to ever login (I've been trying periodically for over a year) with OAuth and now even after OAuth support was removed. Authentication is a pretty small (but important) part of an app, and I can't imagine the rest is any better. Big facepalms all around.

This app used to work fine some months back in fast start up, scrolling and clicking response, and saving 'list' items without sometimes disappearing. All of these functions are now lacking in performance and consistency to where the user experience is negatively impacted. Recommend focusing in addressing some of these software issues for better overall customer service and trust in this app.

The shopping app is horrible. I spent an hour shopping for pick up and it had a glitch and didn't let me check out. There is consistently an issue with the app. It needs to be fixed by somebody who is current and knowledgeable in shopping apps. It was OK when it was new, years later not so much.

The app is poorly designed and either logs your location out or puts you into store mode so it's frustrating to create a pickup order. I only want store mode if I select it, not because I'm in the store and it decides to switch itself. I don't want to create a list I want to put things in a cart. To switch things over to pickup or to select things for pick up when you are in store mode is a multi step process. DIt ddn't used to be this way either. I find it fustrating like I said.
