Incomprehensibly bad.
Hertz's app (and website) are so freakishly bad that one might suspect them of hating their customers. There are hardly words to describe how hard they make it. The app does not remember usernames or passwords, you have to log in right from the start every single time you open it, and if you enter the wrong password 3 times - after you have spent time finding your customer number (no, here it does not help with email address) - then you will be told to CALL them to arrange it. It's that feeling of having to fight and sweat hard to get a rental car booked. At the same time, all competitors have smart, fast and intuitive solutions. So bye, Hertz. It was nice for the 25 years it lasted.

Many bugs
The application doesn't keep the user session. Every time it needs to re-authenticate. Also, it keeps saying “Update to new version” and it doesn't let me even see the list of available cars because there's no update in the App Store. As a software engineer, all shame on Hertz for allowing such amateurism in their service providers.

It is bad
I love Hertz but the app is really bad. Now they mention an upgrade is available but the app does not update, just get in a loop. Please rethink it completely and make one app that makes justice to the company.

Useless app and makes you want to leave Hertz
Being a member at the highest level with Hertz, National and Avis - I have enjoyed Hertz's cars but this completely horrible app makes me doubt my choice

Unbelievably crappy
It's staggering how is it possible for company as Hertz to have such utterly useless app. App doesn't keep you logged in, searching for reservation doesn't work either. Shame!
