Support won't up date my router unless I pay them for my security up date . it's bad enough you pay a few hundred for a router then they want you to pay for ever hind site id go with another brand

The documentation for my EX7000 Nighthawk WiFi Range Extender redirects me to this app which does not detect my device. Big nonsense!!

Good stuff
Everything is great but is lacking a feature to lock ip addresses on devices. Have to go to the online admin page for this. Otherwise great though and great routers.

router works great, if you have to change phones getting back into the app is next to impossible. if you need help from Netgear... good luck, they don't help and clearly aren't interested in fixing the issue. Issue is posted all over forums, it's well known. somehow I got back in by logging into "router anywhere" or whatever it's called. then suddenly the app worked again. tried cache, reinstall, all the recommended things by forums, no help from Netgear at all.

The app is utterly useless in every aspect. when it did allow me to log in, it tools were limited to basic functionality with no optimization. I do NOT recommend it!

It is not possible to rename connected devices, so many appear as "unknown"...

Needs to let us name our devices. Instead of using numbers. It hard to tell which device is allowed to use my network. I wish I could customize this

Outstanding product, expensive service
The product covers my home completely and many spaces outdoors as well. It reaches the pool! However; there are several other routers on the market that don't even charge for setting up schedules and limits (parental controls). I did set mine up with a large discount but why is there a charge at all since the service is already built in? Even a large discount is more expensive than free.
