Where else does this happen?
The truth is that I am very surprised that a platform restricts the hours to listen to audiobooks, I was surprised to receive the communication that I could not continue listening to an audiobook because I had already heard 50 hours from others... Now I get a message that from June it can only be 8pm... On no other platform is there a limit to anything, which is what I pay for. I will not renew my subscription with PODIMO, it is unfortunate that they do not inform you either. They raise the price and limit the content, it's a scam.

There are good podcasts among them, but the fact that I can't request an rss feed so that I can use my own podcast app makes me choose not to renew my subscription. The Podimo app itself in my opinion also has flaws compared to Overcast, CarPlay crashes occasionally and podcasts are not paused with notifications so I have to rewind.

Starting in June, they change the monthly audiobook listening limit from 50 hours to 20 hours. At the time I made the annual payment and now they won't let me cancel the subscription because of the change in the conditions and give me my money back (which I think would be reasonable, because I only pay it for audiobooks and now I will have less than half the time).

Be careful, annual subscription made a week ago and now they inform me that they reduce the hours of audiobook by more than half because if... I don't recommend it

Change of conditions, beware!
I signed up for the annual plan because they offered 50 hours/month of audiobooks. Weeks later they change the conditions unilaterally and reduce it to 20 hours/month. That's not even one book a month. However, they have already been paid for the year. It doesn't say much about the ethics of this platform.

I've been with podimo for a year now and I liked it quite a bit, but I'm going to stop using it because it's not just that they've raised the price this year, which I can understand, but they're also going to reduce the monthly listening hours of audiobooks from 50 to 20. I'm already paying a subscription to access the content of the application, I don't understand that there is a limit to listening to audiobooks and much less that after increasing the payment they reduce the hours.

Since the last update, the app sometimes stays on the starting purple screen for up to 2 minutes when it starts. Also, since this update, the app is very slow when buffering audio over Wi-Fi. I have a Samsung Galaxy S22
