Too expensive
The invitation should be bigger when opening and the other details should show on the designed card. I wouldn't mind doing a yearly subscription for a few dollars but I don't do enough events to warrant the price they want. You should be allowed to pay for individual cards as you see fit without the subscription.

Complete garbage. After you spend the time creating the invitations they tell you it's $3.99 to $7.99 a month and you need to subscribe to their membership. $3.99 seemed reasonable for 5 invitations until they billed me $50 the day after the event. Don't do it!

App is glitchy and way too pricey
I tried making an invitation on the full website and things went well until I was offered no advertisement on the invitations for $29.99 a month lol. That's so expensive!! Yes, it could be 6.99 a month if you signed up for a year up front at $84, but to send birthday invites for a toddler once a year, no. There needs to be more options for individuals who don't want to send 300 invites a year but still want to enjoy the experience without a McDonald's ad at the top. Charge me one time $10 when I go over 10 invites up to 30 for example. I would be fine with that, but your trying to get the subscription commitment and you just lost our business today and in the future. Also, I tried the app after I accepted what I thought was add free for 5.99 a month and I could not even move the text around the invitation. You could only back space to move the text box. The text was on the character's face and it couldn't be moved easily. Too much $ and time for a subpar app. Waste of an hour for me making the invite and also adding my invites (which you can't easily go into your contacts to add; you have to paste each one over!!). To punch bowl: Yes, you say it's “free” but who wants to use a invitation you send guests “free” for 7 days… you need to come back in for at least 30 days plus, to track the activity of people attending. I thought okay, maybe I'll pay monthly, but $30/month to send kids birthdays invites (I would need two months) is a joke. Too many other more affordable or free options out there that are user friendly. Tired, annoyed parent here, that this didn't help at all. Lower your prices.

Cute but confusing... Trying to update my guest list and send invitations to additional guests after sending out some invites led me in a lot of circles before I finally managed to get an invite sent to a newly added guest. Too expensive as a monthly rate, unless you're using it for some sort of professional reason.

Too expensive and needs work
I never review apps, but I wanted to share my experience. For sending digital wedding invites, my options were limited so I chose Paperless. The bad - • desktop version is not user friendly and has many bugs. I'm in digital marketing I am well versed in using technology for design. • expensive. For like 20 more dollars I could've sent physical invites. Cost $53 to sent 60 invites because their coin system doesn't allow you to purchase the exact number of coins you need. • coin system overall is confusing • every little thing costs an extra coin (add envelope, add stamp, add background, etc) • I chose to send via text because I heard the emails often go to spam. But you can not add phone numbers in bulk from a sheet, so I had to manually type all 60 phone numbers. • 3 correct cell phone numbers bounced, but you are still charged coins for bounced numbers. I had to end up sending a personal link to the bounced numbers which does not send the personalized envelope with stamp that I paid 2 extra coins for. The good - • Did the job • cool animation

They charged me instead of processing the 7 day free trial.
I've used Punchbowl in the past and it's always been a great service and app. Some of the designs and features are extra, but that's understandable. I was attempting to send a card on the standard, no cost version but ran into some difficulty. The option to purchase the upgraded plan with a free trial appeared, so I figured, let me try it. Once I was done using the app, I received an email sometime later stating that I was going to be charged close to a $100. When I reached out to Punchbowl, they stated that my request for refund was rejected. I submitted my request the same day. I went through the BBB because I felt it unfair. They responded that I had used a paid version in 2018 that I don't even remember having but I take them at their word. My question is why are they able to show a free trial option to me, if in their words I don't qualify for? I have trouble remembering a few weeks ago, so 2018, how would I have known? Horrible customer service.
