Ads.....Just ads
I have had a long break from Flipboard due to constant bombardment of ads. No different since trying it again. I get the business model but it's not for me. Love the format and flow but I'm out as I have no interest in the ads

Unintuitive and unhelpful
Found Flipboard as the no. 1 recommendation for an RSS feed viewer since you can't link an RSS feed to Apple News. Tried to flip through the menus and settings to find somewhere to put it in. Couldn't find anything. Searched online for a support article. Found an incredibly vague article about how set yourself up as a publisher and publish your RSS feed to a magazine. Kept searching online. Found quora articles about adding a feed to your board. “Just type in the url” “type in the url but add .rss to the end” “remove the www” Honestly just easier to go directly to the authors website every morning and flip back to Apple News when I'm done.

Fake and biased
Uninstalled. It's all garbage designed to promote the developer's social agenda. Update: I tried this app again and it's worse than before. It is so left-wing skewed that Huff Post looks conservative in comparison. DELETED for good thins time. Good riddance.

Topic selection does not filter well
While topic selection is not expected to be perfect, it tends to our in content that is opposite of what the topic is declared to be, particularly on political issues. Of course, news sources in general have lost credibility so Flipboard's value declines accordingly.

Only three stars for a five star app
In many ways, the best news aggregator. But I can't seem to tune the algorithm. How many time do I have to mute ‘Uproxx' before it disappears? I can't seem to mute anything. What am I missing.

Broken?
Does Flipboard just not work on any site anymore? I haven't used it in a while and everything I open just opens the regular websites...

Nagged me for a review. Here it is.
Update 2: still nagging. Still one star. Additional complaints below still apply. Update: Still nagging = still one star I despise being nagged by an app for a review so any app that does so gets a one star review. Also Flipboard has gotten much worse of late with advertising and items chosen by Flipboard and marked “for you” that you didn't choose and can't even mark “show less like this”. The most obnoxious example of this is the Videos on the front page. I don't want to watch videos on Flipboard! YouTube doesn't show me articles.
