Refuse to use this app due to the video ads. If it contained just plain static ads, then I'd have no problem with that. But I refuse to use a product that forces me to see flashy, glitzy ads.

Infected now

Years ago this was a clean app for collecting news sources. Now it plays music randomly out of nowhere, like an intrusive ad that you cant quit. Over the years it slowly devolved into 1 in 9 useful news articles, littered with video content that auto plays unless one goes in and changes some settings, and “stories” and “magazines” collected by users not professional editors. I have tried to add a legitimate news source, a publication called Escape Collective. The support person was unhelpful and sent me basic article links.

Far Left Propaganda, DEI, Woke Garbage!

I want you to download this app and find ONE SINGLE anews story that talks positively about Trump OR negative about Biden. Find ONE. You can't. Every article is an op/Ed that bashed everything we, on the right, believe. If I don't think kids should be allowed to transition PERMANENTLY at the age of 7, then I'm evil. If I think Trump did a good job of keeping us out of war, then I'm evil for supporting far This app is a complete piece of garbage. Ads and far-Left bias.

Selection is Good But Experience is Crappy

I've enjoyed this app for some time because the aggregation is pretty good. BUT between constant pop-ups and pictures/embeds that don't render, the experience is poor and (I believe) getting worse. Flipboard people, you need to put in some blockers or at least give users the ability to turn blockers on.

I see Flipboard saying that the popups etc are from the original article. Checking the original article in your Web browser will show a much clearer screen without all the added junk by Flipboard.
