App technical issues
I was enjoying Rosetta Stone. But on my iPad the formatting is wrong. I can't select some of the boxes and have to constantly close the app to load my progress. The boxes not being in range to select makes it impossible to actually know what's being said.

Speech does not work well for Tagalog, so I have it disabled. I read and repeat out loud, so I get that practice there. The app will hang at a indefinitely when it reaches a speaking exercise, so I have to pause the app and manually skip to the next exercise. Sometimes, the app is unresponsive on the speech exercise and will not let me complete the lesson at all. This is the best app I found so far to learn Tagalog but the user interface is very awful with anything related to speech.

Learning languages with obstacles
In and of itself, I like the app. Learning in a playful context, with pictures and lots of repetitions, internalizes the vocabulary learned really quickly. Unfortunately, the audio recording of the app Grotten is poor and the required words or syllables sometimes have to be repeated five times. I've already turned down the sensitivity of the audio recording and still Rosetta has problems with recognition. And no, it's not because of my pronunciation. I checked it with a native speaker. Other apps like Babble aren't as fussy. Dear Rosetta team, I would like to make improvements here. Because as it is, the pronunciation exercises are tiring and frustrating.

They sell it to you as free but it only has 3 days free and then they charge you more than 114 euros. If you're looking to pay I recommend it, if you're looking for a free app... You only get 20min of free learning

I do like their approach. However, I spent a small fortune on the discs, which they made obsolete. Now, I am expected to shell out large sums in order to continue to use my language program. No thanks.

Can't sign up with your Google account. You need to sign up on the website, before you can use the app. They should upgrade this to more modern architecture and better login options.
