Free features from last year no longer free.
This is a good app, but it's been neutered so bad compared to last year. They're taking away features just to increase paid subscribers. For example, where “My Area” used to allow me to view the fishing areas within about 30 minutes of my home, now the smallest “My Area” map is fishing locations within multiple hours of driving, unless you pay for a subscription, which pretty much makes the app useless to me.

Hey, we like money so let's charge for everything!!! This app used to be great. Now they want 80 dollars for the year to look at someone's Instagram posts of fish. Miles well call it onlyfish. Leave this app in the ditch and use something else.

Used to love this app
I used to absolutely love this app being a 16 year old kid. I would go to south carolina and use it to help me in a location I didnt know where to fish. I cant afford a big monthly or yearly pay but the free version was nice it let u see catches near by. and see what their catching and thats all I needed. But nowadays they removed all that u have to pay 70! dollars a year just to see catches and to even have a marker on ur screen. Idc what anyone says this company is just a money grab. they would rather make money then helping a fishing community who just needs help finding spots. it used to be the best app to ever exist their wasnt a app like it because others made u pay for the catches log and to see what they caught and etc. but now they are just like the other silly little fishing apps. Im moving on and praying someday someone makes a app for fishing like fishbrain thats free for the fishing community. I just might make one just to run fish-brain out for their money grab mindset. If the developers needed money they could have went about it in a different way like ads or running sponsorships but now this company is slowly going to rot into a little company nobody cares about. I hope fishbrain can make a turn one day but until now 1 star

Used to be better
This was a great app for years. Then, with the invention of their pro membership, it's become all but worthless. If you want to see the history of catches from bodies of water, you must pay. What baits are popular there? Pay. I liked being able to go back and see the history of catches at bodies of water. Being able to tell yourself that “hey, this species typically picks up around late April, while this one slows down in mid May” is huge. I'm very disappointed in the app. It still has a good community, but it has gone significantly downhill since its initial release

Don’t waste your time
Legit just downloaded it and it instantly asked for payments. Didn't even get to look at spots. The owners are just money hungry and don't really care for fishing. Disgraceful

How do you charge that much for a app... What are you getting out of it that you can't get on Google maps... Just put satilite mode... Big deal you can't see the catches that's the fun thing about fishing...
