I faced with a problem about payment issue, even if I have enough balance for booking a lesson I won't be able to booked another lesson. I need an immediate support please. 2) Today I Got an e mail that says if you update the app you can fix the problem. But still same problem.

Good language learning service.
The app has limitations that the website doesn't have. Unable to pay in certain currencies. The video quality is not the best. Fast at solving issues with site and app. Unlimited texting in Preply is a godsend.

Used to love, but now feels scammy
I used to love this app but they changed a lot of policies. Some helped and some didn't. However, A few of the policies now make it very difficult if you have a busy schedule. I bought 6 lesson pack and wasn't able to use it even after rolling over (which you're limited to one time and then the lessons expire and they take your money), but then they wouldn't refund me because it was over 28 days ago. The thing is, you don't get alerted until it's too late about these policies. Now I'm out almost 100$ and the customer service is laughably bad. They just say sorry but you should block off a time and then reschedule when you're able to come. Essentially screwing the tutors because you have to block time off THEIR schedule that you don't intend to use, just to keep the lessons from expiring. How bad for the tutor and customer, but not Preply. Go somewhere else, it's not worth the hassle and them trying to make money over actually having an honest policies that help both parties and not just themselves. Sheesh. Hope y'all enjoy the money.

I didn't hear the tutor in the lesson, there were problems with communication or the tutor ignored me, I was charged for this lesson

Overall good app, but Preply tells me that I'm going to lose the money I gave them in advance, instead of letting me keep it as a credit. Very bad system for the user + doesn't make sense for them financially (everybody wants money in advance). Overall their booking / subscription system is bad. They should let us buy and use credits as we wish (standard procedure). Good point however for changing the time zone when traveling.

Great app, Great idea, and affordable. Bad costumers service, and lack of commitment from teachers. My biggest problem has been needing to adapt to teachers availability. Example, I schedule a class looking at their calendars, and then they don't show up, then they just reschedule the class without asking, doing it for times in which, I the client, need to adapt to their disposition. I love the app, and to me, it's a very affordable way to learn, but I guess, one gets what you pay.

Had some difficulty figuring out how to get my refund for a canceled trial class, but I managed to get the app's chatbot to do it. I do hope I do not run into payment and refund related problems in the future, because this app's concept looks good!

The app and the idea behind it is great but the refund system is one of the worth, when you buy a course it automatically subscribe it and you don't have any clue, when they already take your mony and you wanna cancel, they find a way to not to cancel it, so on that part it's not professional at all. They told us your money maybe return or you have to take classes, classes that are not needed!!!!
