DON'T USE IT!!! I originally enjoyed this app. However, after finding cheaper apps with better options and features I decided to close my $9 monthly subscription in September 2023. Now April 2024 and I've had to fight to make sure they cancel my account and STOP MAKING WITHDRAWALS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! After hours of arguing with a supervisor about being refunded, they finally realized they had been making withdrawals from 9/23 to 4/24 after closing my account. DON'T USE!

Great app. Has features of other banking apps but also gives stock back, and lets you set aside money for goals. While they don't gain interest they are available without penalty at a moments notice as long as you can move it back to checking. Always enjoyed using the app. There was a period of time when I couldn't sign in on my phone but still had access on my computer. Never had a major issue other than the sign in problem but its corrected now.

This app has screwed me over so much in the past. And I can't get the monthly payments to stop. Nor do I make enough to be able to see this as a viable option to keep. I will not ever recommend this app to anyone.

I download this YEARS ago, I lost email password that I put 80$ on for my child. I am 911 in need of that money, bc it's so so complicated I need answers from whomever answers the reviews and plz help me get back the $$ I lost in this app.... I'll update w diff star review if this will work... Thank you. Overall a good idea, just BE CAREFUL

terrible scam app. i installed once but never paid for the service and just received an email asking me to re-enter my card information?? which i never gave in the first place?? i wish I was making this up. please stay away and do not trust it.

Poor Service
Customer service is limited to week days, and the people I have talked to have no idea what they're doing. Follow-up is poor, communication is poor, service is poor. After being a customer for years I am fed up and transferring everything to Robinhood. I'm paying for this app which is difficult to navigate, the way transfers or adding money to portfolios doesn't make sense. I'm young and use technology daily, I could build this app so many better ways. I've been a customer for years, but after using Public, Titan, Bloom, and Robinhood— Stash is garbage and I no longer trust them with my money. I also tried moving my money from my cash card to my portfolio, and it didn't work so I tried again, and again. Two days later I start receiving emails that my account is -$566.66. I call frantic and they say it's just a mistake. So am I supposed to trust the emails or the portfolio and account numbers because none of them matched. The transfers showed in the statement but didn't state they were rejected or cancelled or pended. Extremely frustrating and broke my trust for the company. After the poor service the inability to actually know or check what my account and portfolio balances actually were I am in the process of closing and transferring. They have made this a painful and long process where other brokerages are actually answering my questions instead of Stash. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT HAS BEEN WEEKS AND I HAVE SPENT HOURS AND HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE. I HAVE MISSED DEADLINES FOR TRANSFERS AND LOST MONEY BECAUSE OF STASH'S INCOMPETENCE.

had to install before I could review after having deleted the app the first time. ok I am closing my meager account after a 3$ fee that I couldn't stop actually had I been able to access my account without all the trouble with a phone number change I would have canceled the subscription before that last 3$ turned into practically 40$ total overdraft. so whatever chump change im getting is not going to cover that cost. oh well, that's what happens when you try new things. not exactly a plus.

I opened a Stash account with the $50 promotion. I deposited over the minimum to receive it and I have waited over the 90 day holding period yet I haven't received the option to move it. Stash charges $3 per month so, to put it simply, they gave money that I can't transfer in exchange for paying for a subscription. It's stupid. That alone makes it one star worthy in my opinion.
