I can't stand an app that isn't set up properly. I get emails constantly trying to get more money out of me, then when it's actually something important like new member joining, it redirected me to online website which defeats the purpose of the app. Especially when you have to log in to use the app, which really defeats the purpose. And messages I had between connections are gone now. Its become to much trouble

The information is great but the app is bad, it keeps logging me out and showing error when I press on different sections and I keep having to reinstall it a few times per day to view my information.

Catch 22
When opening the 23andMe app it said they were requiring me to change my password and I should click the link to change the password. The link took me to a webpage that asked for my email. After submitting I received an email that had a link to reset my password. I clicked the link in the email which took me to a website that asked for an authentication code from the app. I cannot open the app because it is forcing a password change. I'm stuck.

Love seeing the health and ancestry aspects for myself. However, I keep getting an error code when I try and look at my DNA relatives' ancestry breakdowns. I've never had this issue before.

Bought 3 kits about 6yrs ago, fully registered and used the site many times. Endlessly spams my email.. I log in to check my 17 NEW RELATIVES.. won't show me ANY of my data.. tells me I have to make a profile, but I'm have one, I can't see my family tree. It tells me Looks like you're trying to register a new kit! Nope... I accepted all sharing again.. and again. The website is outdated and hard to use. The app is outdated and hard to use. Now it's unusable.... thanks.. can I get my $350 back?

Not thrilled with the fact that I registered my kit before I even got the results back and now every time I get a link to go see results, etc., it forces me to register the kit again, and I no longer have the barcode. Annoying.

Bait and Switch
23andMe's new business model is horrible. As an early adopter, I was excited to get new results. Now they require you to get a subscription to get the valuable information. 23andMe doesn't care about its customers, otherwise the company would let you know this information instead of putting it behind a paywall after paying so much to get the service. I cannot recommend this service or company.

The kit arrived but I can't try to activate it cause I forgot my password and it won't allow me to reset it. No reset link is sent to my email😏
