What a ripoff

Terrible business model. When booking a reservation and finalizing it as a guest I submitted payment information with the confirmed price. Upon logging in to my AVIS preferred account to add the confirmation to my profile the price instantly jumps up 20%. The reasoning behind this is “any change to the reservation makes the price subject to change” even if that change is simply attaching the confirmed reservation to an already existing profile. An absolute ripoff and I will not be giving them my business ever again.

Not Impressed

The new update to the app is a disaster. Wish I could go back to the old version. The part I especially hate, when they “upgrade” you into an awful vehicle and you just want the car you reserved, with no upgrades. Used to be able to change that in the app now you have to stand in line forever to have an agent not be able to help.

Fraud alert

Shortly after entering my credit card info into this Avis app, fraudulent charges appeared. I had not used the card in other ways recently that would have exposed the number.

This app is very difficult to use & won't let me check in to avoid the line for checkin. If it was my choice, I would not use AVIS!!
