I love Bookbeat! The prebab, but since the last major update is, I can hardly find my way around. What used to be super intuitive and handsome now seems completely incomprehensible and horribly ugly to me. wish there was a way back... In itself I like the app very much, there are many great also current audiobooks, although not all that I would like to listen to P.S. I think it would be great if you can create a new bookmark, [same after you have saved another] without having to close the bookmark view, so that the new bookmark really takes the time that is currently running and not the time that was running when clicking on the bookmark icon

Works modestly
App crashes constantly, the book stops on its own every 10s. This is really annoying!! Updated iOS but still doesn't work.

Bad subscription model, but otherwise great.
The subscription model annoys me. For some people, 100 hours is not enough and I don't think it's cool to have to pay another 6.99 for 25 extra hours. and then again if the month isn't over yet. Please just make a subscription (unlimited hours) for 25€ or so. Also, some books are missing that I would like to hear, but BookBeat also has limited licenses. Other than that, the app is great, just right for audiobook lovers like me. The design is kept simple, the functions diverse. (timer, speed etc)

Why can't you hear fast anymore?
Great app with great selection and filter functions. You can adjust the speed in 0.1 steps, which I love. But recently, you can only set it up to 2.0. This bothers me a lot, as I often listen to 2.2-2.5. Hope that changes again soon.

Something is missing...
I love Bookbeat and have been using it for years. However, I prefer the old subscription models, where there was also an infinite model. What I'm missing: the opportunity to take a few notes on a book that isn't public like the review. That would be great! And a desktop app would be great too.

Hours expire and books cannot be heard to the end
I don't like the concept compared to others. I cancelled my subscription and hadn't used all the hours yet. I hadn't quite finished an audiobook yet and now I can't listen to it to the end. Very inflexible, is not for me. Then it's better to use another provider with a better concept

Beware of the cunning movement. If you're supposed to hear during the promotional period, you can't cancel your subscription right away.
