Dont take me wrong its a great application BUT the biggest payment option is for 100h per month im listening around 250 so i have to buy 6 additional hours because they are only in 25h per one its annoying just make some better customer services and it ll be 5 stars

I don't like the hour subscription model. For someone who listens to a book a day, it just doesn't work without an unlimited option. Also it's extremely annoying that I can't change the default language. I don't want German books, just because I live there temporarily doesn't mean I want listen in German. While I can add English, I can't deselect German and all the communication is in German. This should be changeable like other services like Amazon does. Fix those things and I'd be a convert!

I don't know why the ratings are so high. The application is very expensive. In the basic plan, only 20 hours of listening per month. Only 100 hours on the premium plan. And no other options without limitations. In addition, problems with payments, they only accept Polish credit cards, no blik or PayPal payments. We have the year Year 2024,. I don't see any major updates, e.g. The Witcher audiobooks end with 6 parts and there are no more parts of the saga for months. So the saga is incomplete. Weak in my opinion.

Extremely pointless. I pay a monthly subscription just to discover that 98% of audiobooks interesting for me are 'locked' and have to be purchased each separately. Feels like a scam.

I install the free version to see if we like the app at all, after 1 day when I forget to cancel the subscription, I wrote a request for a refund. No responses. The support for this application has been screwed up on the customer. I'm not going to use it anymore if they treat the customer like this.

Bookbeat bought Elisa Kirja, where all books you buy were DRM-free (only watermarked). Huge downgrade and big loss. Now instead of owning a book you lease it, and can't e.g. create a bilingual translation from it to learn foreign language, or just read it anywhere and keep it forever. Electronic book as an artificially degraded version of a paper book: "pay, and read only in our application in a way we want, and while we allow you".
