Not to be used
My waypoints are on the map outside the lake! The community map also extends beyond the lake on the map. Also, no satellite images, but only stylized outlines. Unfortunately, this app is not usable. Competitors can do this much better.

ActiveCaptain connection initial synchronization
ActiveCaptain Group, Connecting for first synchronization is a joke, have tried so many times now, got help from the support d went like that, a month ago we bought the chart now on we still have maybe 10% of the depth curves and maps. E now inside me iPhone o trying to get to it but no. The problem that arises is that I have to connect to Wi-Fi on bluetooth on plotters does not deliver internet, it says somewhere or is there more of the guidance videos or some other amazing way, yes you get on their ignorance maybe because we now then in this case ordered a memory card from a sport fishing shop, Then in your wildest imagination you think that you push the card into the chartplotter and load over or use the memory card as a hard drive for the program. No, of course a blank memory card. Download through ActiveCaptain blabla select active areas for faster download blabla this should have to be so convoluted. Before yes can not control me so I round, very nice sonar iaf, the plotter in my story honestly an echomap UHD 62cv Software version: 14.10 iPhone 13 Best wishes, Niklas Rönngård

QuickDraw
QuickDraw community content is accessible through the app, but there isn't a lot of value trying to contribute more contours. I've uploaded multiple times and haven't seen my integrated contour contributions for months.

Absurdly complicated and unintuitive
Home port was perfect for route planning at home. Why was it discontinued??? I can't make head or tail of this terrible app, and there don't seem to be any instructions anywhere. Please can we have home port back!!

Active Captain App
In general, the app works and does what's supposed to sometimes better than the chart plotter However, the business of connecting to the boat Wi-Fi and then connect to the local Wi-Fi that has an Internet connection is very clumsy. I don't understand why the boat cannot connect to the local network and the app be designed to also discover the boat that is on the local network, that way we can download software updates, chart updates and not fiddle back-and-forth connecting to the local network and then to the boat network. I understand that you would like to make sure the software is completely downloaded to the phone in case the network stops working or some other glitch. That way you can control the download from the phone to the chart plotter
